The purpose of this study was to examine how seven primary school teachers work with reading comprehension in their educational practice. The method used were interviews. The result shows the different methods that teachers use in their teaching. An analysis shows that each teacher uses several reading comprehension strategies and combines them in their teaching. The conclusion of the study is that teachers are using multiple comprehension strategies that they combine with each other. The study also shows that teachers are not aware of the strategies they use and what models of reading comprehension instructional strategies that are included.
