The field trip as a reconstruction of experience

For the purpose of this study, education is defined as the reconstruction of experience. This paper will present a study of the ways in which the field tip can be made most effective as a means of such reconstruction. The term field trip is synonymous with school journey, trip excursion, jaunt or tour. Perhaps one thinks of the field trip as the shortest,--lasting less than half a day. The length is not important. It is necessary, however, to make sure that the meaning of the above terms is clear. / Typescript. / "May, 1949." / "Submitted to the Graduate Council of Florida State University in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Arts under Plan II." / Advisor: H.
