Forty Florida Negro couples who adopted children during the years 1957-1959

"The purpose of this study was to analyze data collected through the administration of a schedule of ten selected items applied to records of a study sample composed of twenty Negro couples who adopted children placed by the Children's Service Bureau of Dade County and twenty other Florida Negro couples who adopted children without licensed child-placing agency service in 1957, 1958, or 1959.
