Doctoral thesis deals with domain of electric energy storage. It seeks to define the methods of accumulation, which can be used in industrial applications and define the conditions for the use of storage systems in electric power systems with extended penetration of renewable energy sources. In the context of current developments in this field is analyzed detail one of the perspective storage systems - Vanadium Redox Battery (VRB). One of the outcomes of this work is economic and energy analysis of storage systems, which are conceived with a disproportion between production and consumption of energy.
