Presented diploma thesis deals with resocialization of children offenders. It is dedicated to national and international practice in the field of work with violent offender. The objective of the diploma thesis is to find out, what are the basic characteristics of the resocialization programmes and its potential growth. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic terminology of offender, victim, resocialization and related areas of care for offenders. The research part is divided into a methodology where the author describes the process of data gathering through semi-structured interviews and empiricism, supported by testimonies of experts working with violent offenders.
