This thesis addresses the reconstruction of the burnt mansard roofs of the late Baroque period, to propose a method for the reconstruction of the roof structure. The important part is dedicated to finding design and construction joints procedure for compiling. Selected problem was solved by building technical survey of similar roof design and construction process was tested on model development. The proposed solution provides the ability to understand the processes in the construction of the roofs of the late Baroque. Due to the research carried out on several houses, was also found that mansard roof structure underwent a development mostly due to the overall height of the roof and simplifying construction. The main result is the project of the construction carpentry mansard roofs, which were carried out very precisely and the system design of the construction was very sophisticated and simple. Based on the data, it is possible to carry out reconstruction of the roof. The results of this study make it possible to understand how the construction of these types of roofs progressed in earlier times and what the level of craftsmanship was.
