Jesuit college in Český Krumlov on the turn of 16th to 17th century. Contribution to religous and social history of the city This dissertation is dedicated to history of the city Český Krumlov on the verge of 16th and 17th century. Based on study of relevant literature and drawing from chosen sources, especially copy of cronicle of Český Krumlov's jesuit college and criminal law agenda from the judiciary court of Český Krumlov, it reveals the establishment of jesuit college in Český Krumlov in 1584 and its further influence in the city till the year 1622. Further part of the dissertation concentrates on relationship of Jesuits to suzerains and the townsmen of Český Krumlov looking closer at three civil proceedings that local Jesuits lead in the nineties of the 16th century and first two decades of the 17th century with suzerains of Rožmberk, Krumlov's non-christians and townsmen.
