This thesis concentrates on management of the purchasing department, concludes the supply chin management, choice and appraisal of the suppliers, coordination od stock value, negotiation with key suppliers, partnership with the suppliers and claims handling. The target of this thesis was summary of realised measures and preparing next proposals for optimizing the work of purchasing department from the position of Purchasing Manager.
