[pt] Este estudo visa a discutir a concepção de cultura
brasileira em que se baseia a
criação artística do Movimento Armorial. A partir dela,
então, busca compreender
a proposta Armorial para a criação de uma música erudita
brasileira baseada nas
raízes populares de nossa cultura. Primeiro, foi
investigada a reflexão
empreendida por Ariano Suassuna sobre a cultura
brasileira, na qual sobressaem a
noção de raça castanha, suas idéias a respeito da arte
produzida pelos habitantes
do sertão nordestino e as características de nossa
formação racial e cultural.
Assim, em seguida, foram discutidas as propostas e
diretrizes para a criação de
uma música de concerto que pudesse trazer alguma marca
especificamente
brasileira. / [en] This study aims at discussing the conception of brazilian
culture in which the
artistic creation of Movimento Armorial is based. It seeks
to understand the
Armorial proposal for the creation of a brazilian erudite
music based on the
popular roots of our culture. First of all, Ariano
Suassuna´s reflections on
brazilian culture were investigated, specially the notion
of raça castanha, his
ideas about the art created by the inhabitants of
northeastern sertão and the
characteristics of our racial and cultural formation.
Then, in sequence, the
proposals and directions for the creation of a kind of
concert music that would
carry a specifically brazilian mark were discussed.
