[pt] O objetivo deste trabalho é comparar dois métodos dos que
calculam a performance de um sistema de comunicações
digitais PSK coerente em presença de ruído térmico e
interferências entre-símbolos e co-canal. No primeiro
método é determinado um limite superior na probabilidade
de erro usando-se as funções densidade de probabilidade
maximizantes das interferências. No segundo método é
calculada a probabilidade de erro com qualquer precisão
que se queira, utilizando-se uma expansão em série de
potências das funções características das interferências. / [en] The purpose of this work is to compare two methods for
calculating the performance of coherent PSK digital
communication system in presence of thermal noise,
intersymbol and cochannel interference. In the first
method an upper bound on the error probability is
determined using the maximizing interference probability
desity function. In the second method the error
probability is calculated with any desired accuracy
utilizing a power series expansion of the interference
characteristics functions.
