Lorsqu'une machine tournante est composée d'un rotor et d'une paroi de carter, le jeu désigne l'espace entre l'extrémité des pales et le carter. Ce jeu est le lieu d'écoulements complexes contribuant aux émissions acoustiques des machines tournantes. Ce travail de thèse a pour objectif d'améliorer la compréhension des divers phénomènes résultants d'écoulements de jeu ainsi que de prédire le rayonnement acoustique associé. La littérature traitant de l'aérodynamique des écoulements de jeu est présentée. Une expérience est réalisée sur une configuration simplifiée constituée d'un profil simple fixe à incidence et jeu variables placé dans un écoulement à bas nombre de Mach. Une étude paramétrique est menée afin d'observer l'influence de trois paramètres expérimentaux: la vitesse incidente, l'angle d'attaque et le jeu. Les principaux résultats ainsi que les lois d'évolution qui en découlent sont discutés. / For fans with a rotor confined by a casing, such as encountered in turbomachinery, the spacing between the blade tips and the casing wall is referred to as gap or tip clearance. Complex flows take place in this region that contributes to the overall sound generation of the fan. The objective of the present study is on one hand to improve the understanding of tip leakage flow and its associated broadband noise. On the other hand, efforts are put towards tip leakage broadband noise prediction. The literature review reveals the influence of the gap size onto the flow is highlighted. A experiment carried out on a simplified configuration, which consists of a single non rotating blade with tunable incidence and gap, is presented. A parametric study was conducted in order to determine the influence of the flow velocity, the angle of attack and the gap. Its main results as well as evolution laws are reported and discussed.
