Cette thèse a pour objet d’étudier la pratique manifestante en République tchèque. La période étudiée est celle qui suit la fin du régime communiste jusqu’à nos jours. A cet effet, l’auteur adopte une approche pluriparadigmatique. Il croise les sources policières, les entretiens qualitatifs et la littérature existante.Dans un premier temps, les cadres paradigmatiques de l’objet d’étude sont reconstitués et discutés, qu’ils proviennent des sciences politiques, de sociologie, de droit, d’anthropologie, d’histoire mais aussi des ouvrages venant des études territoriales : études du post-communisme, étude de l’Europe centrale, de la nation tchèque, études européennes et internationales.Dans un second temps, l’auteur se propose de décrire la pratique manifestante en se concentrant sur l’étude des agents sociaux (comités d’organisations, Organisations des Mouvements Sociaux, organes d’Etat), sur les domaines de la manifestation (avec une étude approfondie du cas praguois), sur les règles encadrant les mobilisations (réglementation, jurisprudence, pratique, règles contextuelles) et sur les modalités de mise en oeuvre (étapes, gestion du sens, ressources et contraintes structurelles). Par la suite, l’étude se consacre à l’explication de l’action. Les organisateurs de manifestations, la société civile, les mondes sociaux des manifestations sont reconstitués. Enfin, un essai de modélisation du débat dans une arène publique achève l’ouvrage. / This PHD work aims to study the practice of street prostesting in the Czech Republic (1989-2009). The periode covers the 20 years following the end of the communist regime. The author adopts a pluriparadigmatic approach. Different sources are used such as police sources, qualitative interviews and scientific literature. Firstly, the paradigmatic frames of the studied object are reconstituted and discussed, and they are taken from political sciences, sociology, law, anthropology and history. On the other hand, there are Aera studies like post-communist studies, Central European Studies, the study of the Czech Nation, European or International Studies. Secondly, the author is aiming to describe the practice of demonstrating concentrating on the study of social agents (Organization committees, Social Movement Organization, States Bodies) as well as on thematic aeras of the demonstration (with a deeper analyze of the Prague case). Focus is also placed on the mobilizations (regulations, case law, practice, contextual rules) and on the modalities of implementation (stages, management of the meaning, resources and structural constraints). Thereafter, the study is devoted to the explanation of the action. Event organizers, civil society, social worlds of street demonstrations are analyzed. Finally, an essay attempts to modelize the debate in a public arena.
