Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Untersuchung des multimodalen Konzeptes auf den präfrontalen Kortex bei morbiden adipösen Patienten innerhalb des ersten Studienjahres der Würzburger Adipositas Studie. Die Untersuchungsmethoden sind die funktionelle Nahinfrarot Spektroskopie und der Verbal Fluency Test, zusätzlich wurden biologische Parameter und Gesundheitsfragebögen zur Messung des Therapieerfolges erhoben. Es zeigte sich ein positiver Effekt hinsichtlich der Depressivität der Patienten im Beck Depressions Inventar. Für die anderen Therapievariablen ergab sich kein therapeutischer Effekt, die Patienten nahmen nicht an Gewicht ab und die weitere Entwicklung der präfrontalen Oxygenierung muss im folgenden Verlauf der Würzburger Adipositas Studie untersucht werden. In dieser Arbeit können positive Tendenzen für den Therapieerfolg des multimodalen Konzeptes auf den präfrontalen Kortex gezogen werden. / In the present study 30 obese patients were investigated by means of NIRS during performance of the verbal fluency task. The aim of the study was to analyze the interaction of weight loss and prefrontal oxygenation after multimodal treatment.
During the multimodal concept a weight reduction could not be found and the results in performance of VFT were unrelieved. We found decreased activation in right hemisphere during phonemic task after multimodal treatment. Quality of life increased already during the first year of WAS by means of multimodal concept.
In summary multimodal concept is a powerful instrument to increase quality of life. Reduction of weight was not achieved. We did not find better performance in VFT, but decreased activation in right hemisphere on same level of performance. These trends will be analysed in following Würzburg Adipositas Studie.
