Mestrado em Arte Multimédia / Este projecto tem por objectivo o despertar activo das consciências das pessoas sobre o estado em que a cidade
do Porto se encontra. Uma espécie de mobilidade ou missão social através da percepção visual e conceptual.
Neste sentido, é antes de mais, um convite à mudança de percepção das imagens da cidade conferindo-lhes
características muito próprias de fotogenia e de monumentalidade, assentando o trabalho em três pontos fulcrais
ou essenciais:
Primeiramente, permite ao visitante do projecto-site ler estes espaços de outra maneira, adquirindo outras
interpretações ou percepções.
Em segundo lugar, há também um convite claro às pessoas no sentido de materializarem estes espaços da
cidade, atribuindo-lhes significados ou conceitos em conformidade com as suas próprias vivências ou realidades,
podendo ainda submeter ao projecto as suas próprias contribuições, sob a forma de imagens no âmbito do tema.
Por último, o projecto convida também o visitante a (re)visitar a cidade remetendo-o para locais onde normalmente
não iria, nomeadamente os lugares abandonados ou em ruínas no centro da cidade. Nesta óptica, o projecto
sugere ainda a possibilidade de (re)criar ou (re)inventar percursos virtuais pela cidade. / The main goal of this project is the "active awakening" of people s minds regarding the way Porto city is at the
present time. It s a sort of mobility or social mission through a visual and conceptual perception.
In this matter, the development of this project is most of all, an invitation to change city images perception
conferring them their very own characteristics of photogenie and of monumentality, settling in three fundamental
or essential points.
Firstly, allows the visitor of the project-site to read these spaces in another way, acquiring other interpretations
or perceptions.
Secondly, there is also a clear invitation to people who will be able to materialize these city spaces, attributing
them meanings or concepts in conformity with their own experiences or realities and will also be able to submit
their own contributions of images to the project, within the scope of the subject.
Finally, the project invites also the visitor to (re)visit the city remitting him to places where normally he won t be
able to go, namely the abandoned or in ruins places in the city centre. In this matter, it is suggested the visitor
possibility to (re)create or (re)invent virtual journeys through the city.
