Establecer cómo el empleo de la tecnología informática (hardware y software) logra optimizar las acciones del Control Interno aplicado al área de créditos de los bancos de Lima Metropolitana. El universo ha comprendido a los bancos de Lima Metropolitana, la unidad de análisis ha sido el Control Interno del área de créditos; la muestra estuvo conformada por 80 personas entre contadores, auditores y funcionarios de tres bancos: Mibanco, Banco Financiero y Banco de Comercio, las principales técnicas que se han utilizado para este estudio son las estadísticas, tanto para la tabulación, procesamiento y el análisis de los resultados. Todos los resultados obtenidos favorecen el modelo, lo que ha permitido rechazar la hipótesis nula y aceptar la hipótesis alternativa. / To establish how employing of the informatic technology (hardware and software) will allow the optimization of the internal control in the area of credits of the banks of Metropolitan Lima. The universe has comprised the banks of Metropolitan Lima, the unit of analysis has been the internal control of the area of credits; The sample was shaped by 80 people between accountants, auditors and civil servants employees of three banks: Mibanco, Financiero Bank and Comercial Bank, the principal techniques that I have used themselves for this study, are statistics so much for the tabulation, processing and the results analysis. All the obtained results are in favor to the model, that has allowed reject the null hypothesis and to accept the alternative hypothesis.
