Vojenské trestní právo (1918-1938) / Military criminal law (1918-1938)

Hledík, Michal January 2015 (has links)
130 ABSTRACT This Master's degree thesis deals with the problematics of the military criminal law in the Czechoslovak Republic between 1918 and 1938. I have chosen this theme for several reasons. First of these reasons is, that this subject mingles two legal disciplines - legal history and criminal law. Concurrently it is a topic, that has not yet been widely written up. The reason is that in both law disciplines combined in the theme of interwar criminal law, it is a marginal area of interest. Existing works in most cases focus only on a constituent parts of the problematics. In the second group of works the topic was chosen too widely and the character of resulting outputs was enumeratives, withnout providing context. The purpose of this tesis is to provide a global view on the matter of our military criminal law in the begining of 20th century and within this view then further focus on its dominant elements. The work is based mainly on the legislation effective in the given period, and the commented wordings. Another valuable source for the elaboration of the thesis were historical publications, although recent papers were not excluded. On several occasions the work marginally mentiones the comparison with the interwar general criminal law. In the topics of the military criminal law, whose legislation or...

"Zdomácnění" vědecko-technické revoluce v Československu: inovace v české kuchyni a výživě 50. a 60. let 20. století / "Domesticating" the Scientific-Technological Revolution in Czechoslovakia: Inovation in the Czech Kitchen and Alimentation in the 1950s and 1960s

Tomsová, Julie January 2014 (has links)
The aim of the thesis is the analysis of "domestication" of the scientific-technical revolution and the most important alimentary behavior of Czech society in the 1950' and 1960' of the 20th century. In the thesis is this process interpreted in the context of the change of the regime and of the ideological patterns in the mid- 1950', which should help to overcome the difficulties of the Stalinist utopianism - increased emphasis on quality of lifestyle, housing development, architecture and design, modernization of kitchen equipment and the transformation of ideas about desirable social standards and their importance to legitimize post-Stalinist organization. More specifically, in the context of "domestication" of the scientific-technical revolution, I deal with topics such as the rationalization and mechanization of houseworks, emphasis on hygiene and nutrition, quality of food storage and preparation, the transformation of food composition, the "discovery" of vitamins and enzymes, minerals and etc., haunches on consumerism, developing doctrines of household management, image of woman and her place in the household and other topics. The present work examines not only the structural changes that have occurred, but their ideological aspects - especially the place where the promise of a better life...

MRŇKA, Jaromír: Proměny společnosti v pohraničí českých zemí na příkladu okresů Šumperku a Zábřeh 1945-1960. (Social Transformation of the Czech Borderlands as Illustrated by Districts Šumperk and Zábřeh 1945-1960). Master Thesis. Vytěsněná apokalypsa - česká reflexe ústupu německé skupiny armád Střed / Forgotten Apocalypse - The Czech Reflection of the Retreat of the German Heeresgruppe Mitte

Jakl, Tomáš January 2019 (has links)
Title: Forgotten Apocalypse - The Czech Reflection of the Retreat of the German Heeresgruppe Mitte Author: Mgr. Tomáš Jakl Abstract: There are war campaigns that can be described simply, others more difficult to describe, and some cannot be reconstructed by a continuous narrative at all. The events in the Czech Lands in the first two weeks of May 1945 belong to the most difficult to describe. The fact that there was the largest of last German fighting groups of armies is well known. It is also commonly known that it was the Central Army Group commanded by Field Marshal Ferdinand Schörner. Significantly less is known that as a result of the outbreak of the Czech Uprising, this group of armies retreated across the rebellious territory to the demarcation line between the US and the Red Army The last desperate illusion of German soldiers was that they would contact the Americans and jointly drive the Russians out of Europe. Allied Commander-in-Chief in the West, General Dwight David Eisenhower, did not intend to do anything after the death of US President Roosevelt, which the Soviet dictator could even interpret as a similar development. Not only did he forbid General Patton from crossing the agreed line in advance with the Soviets, visually accommodating the retreating Germans, but the US troops also released...

Najbert, Jaroslav January 2019 (has links)
The thesis aims to stimulate the debate on the need of improvement of the history education in the Czech Republic. It concentrates on describing the consequences of current historical situation, defined by the dealing with the communist past discourse, to history education. First, it analyses the very concept of dealing with the communist past, using available linguistic and statistic tools (e.g. Czech National Corpus and Mediasearch archive) and multidisciplinary literature. Then the three studies follow. The first case study explores the public debates on teaching of communist history that took place in the public since 1989 and included some criticism of the quality of history education. It also analyses conceptualizations of history education within the national curriculum since 1989. As a result, two dominant discursive types that have had an influence on the public debate about history education and teaching practice are defined. The second study explores the memory, pedagogical and discursive practices related to the application of oral history method for both remembrance and history education. It examines both positive but also problematic aspects of memory practice in education related to the stories of 1950's persecution. The third study discuses results of empirical research aimed on...
