Hatbrott : Kan Sverigedemokraternas framgång förklara variationen i hatbrott?

Gunnarsson, Johan January 2012 (has links)

An Analysis of the Telecommunications Business in China by Linear Regression

AJMAL, KHAN, HAN, YANG January 2010 (has links)
In this paper, we study the influence of the National Telecom Business Volume by the data in 2008 that have been published in China Statistical Yearbook of Statistics. We illustrate the procedure of modeling “National Telecom Business Volume” on the following eight variables, GDP, Consumption Levels, Retail Sales of Social Consumer Goods Total Renovation Investment, the Local Telephone Exchange Capacity, Mobile Telephone Exchange Capacity, Mobile Phone End Users, and the Local Telephone End Users. The testing of heteroscedasticity and multicollinearity for model evaluation is included. We also consider AIC and BIC criterion to select independent variables, and conclude the result of the factors which are the optimal regression model for the amount of telecommunications business and the relation between independent variables and dependent variable. Based on the final results, we propose several recommendations about how to improve telecommunication services and promote the economic development.

The optimal treatment method of water turbidity purification in tap-water plant

Lin, Yi-Heng 28 July 2010 (has links)
The main purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the water turbidity purification result with raw water turbidity, raw water pH value and PAC dosage, and find the optimal treatment dosage level. A regression model between the response and treatment variables has been built with a two-stage procedure. In the first stage, the regression model treats a given raw water turbidity as the explanatory variable and the best treatment effect dosage level, among the six experimental dosage levels as the response. Later the model is used to find the second stage regression model where the water turbidity purification result is treated as the response, and the other three variables mentioned above as explanatory variables. According to the results of the second stage regression model about the best dosage level with a given raw water turbidity, the optimal PAC dosage is estimated for the optimization in water turbidity purification, which may be used as a way for future purification of water turbidity.

The Analysis of drunk driving of The United States

Wu, Chin-Chih 25 July 2008 (has links)
The traffic accident all causes the greatest damage and the loss of the world. There are approximate million people to die and about 10 million people to be injured every year of the traffic accident of the world, but middle develops countries have the highest ratio of accident. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration a preliminary appraisal shows that number of death of drunk driving is highest for 14 years of the United States., 2006. Ruthm(1996) and Wilkinson(1987) indicate that the main reason of all age¡¦s populace is the traffic accident fatality on the United States. Phelp(1988) found that there are 5,100 people death for the serious traffic accident in 1980¡¦s of the United States. Above show drunk driving is serious and necessary of discussion. In the past, the research about drunk driving, the kinds of data are cross-section¡Btime series and panel data. The tradition econometrics data have two estimate methods¡GFirst is the Ordinary Least Square; second is the Least Absolute Deviation. The two way¡¦s common characteristic is comprehensive discussion. Therefore the study draw on Quantile Regression and that is analysis of drunk driving of the United States. By the research, we can find that in different rats of fatality must be to take the different policy measure to improve the fatality of drunk driving. Not like other research only provide the concise suggestion.
