Vymezení konceptu komunitní školy v českém školském systému / The Definition of community school concept in the Czech educational system

This dissertation is designed as a theoretical research study, whose aim is to explore the possibilities of mapping and development of the community aspect of schools. This field of study is still relatively unexplored. The goal of this dissertation is to outline theoretically the concept of a Community school, and to stress the change of paradigm of current education and focus on how the role of school changes in current society. The dissertation also focuses on theoretical aspects of school perception and current scientific knowledge in given area. The research focuses on the analysis and characteristics of the Community school model. Further goal of the empirical research was to determine whether there is a reliable instrument to help identify the type and quality of a given Community school, identify a basic typological distribution of Community schools in the Czech Republic, identify how individual concepts of Community schools differ in the content and delivery of their curricula, and how are principles of Community schools interconnected with the principles of inclusive education, and in particular with the provision of equal opportunities. Sto let historie vzdělávání v průmyslové škole ve Volyni v letech 1914-2014 / One hundred years of history of education at secondary industrial school in Volyně in period 1914-2014

This diploma thesis deals with development of industrial school in Volyně in the last one hundred years (1914-2014). Due to such long and rich history of this industrial school, being the second oldest functioning school of this kind, we covered the last one hundred years. Division into chapters follows the changes of school name where such change reflects certain social situation. In this work you can find development of school, its capacity problems which could be solved by looking for and subsequent finding a suitable place for construction and following building of school grounds, problems with accommodation and boarding of students. We keep track of changes related to changes of political situation, changes of study length, fields of study, students´ activities etc. Certain space is related to presentation of school to public (competitions, exhibitions, seminars). In this work you can also find some interesting facts which characterize given period. Sources for this thesis were taken from the archive materials of State district archive in Strakonice, annuals and annual reports of school and school chronicles. This work should contribute to covering history of education system in Volyně.

Negativní jevy na ZŠ a současná legislativa / Negative influence on primary schools and legislative

The diploma thesis deals with the theme of negative effects (forms of risk behaviour) at elementary schools pupils in Český Krumlov and mentions valid legilslation in the field of the risk behaviour primary prevention at school-compulsory choldren and youngsters. The theoretical part describes chosen socially-pathologic effects, the system of primary prevention and MŠMT legislation and other ministries as well in the field of risk behaviour prevention, as well as preventive aktivity of the institutions and organizations in the area of the city of Český Krumlov according to valid laws. The diploma thesis in the practical part includes empirical research performed at chosen elementary schools in Český Krumlov among teachers mapping their experience with the most frequent risk behaviour forms of pupils and further their knowledge and valid legislation usage inthe field of preventation both at schools and duringafter-school activities.
