Šiame darbe yra tiriama, ar Čekijos politinio elito–Pilietinės demokratijos partijos europeizacija valstybės stojimo į ES ir narystės ES laikotarpiu įtakojo partijos euroskepticizmo kaitą. Pasirinkta viena pagrindinių Čekijos euroskeptiškųjų partijų, Pilietinės demokratijos partija, kuri tuo pačiu yra ir viena vyraujančių partijų Čekijos parlamente. Prieš gilinantis į Čekijos Pilietinės demokratijos partijos euroskepticizmo kontekstą, yra aptariamas ir klasifikuojamas Vidurio ir Rytų Europos valstybių politinio elito euroskepticizmas, parodant Čekijos politinių partijų vietą nagrinėjamame kontekste. Pateikiama detali Čekijos Pilietinės demokratijos partijos euroskepticizmo apraiškų apžvalga. Žvelgiant į 1991-2004 metų laikotarpį, analizuojamas vidinis partijos ES diskursas, atskleidžiamas partijos požiūrio į ES ištakos ir euroskeptiškosios pozicijos reikšmė. Atliekama partijos prisitaikymo prie politinio ir organizacinio lygmens pasikeitimų analizė, turint omenyje tai, kad politinių partijų europeizacija arba priešingas jai procesas pasireiškia per partijų reakciją į vykstančius aplinkos pasikeitimus; tiriama euroskeptiškosios Pilietinės demokratijos partijos europeizacija programinių nuostatų, partinės organizacijos ir bendrai Čekijos politinės sistemos pokyčių atžvilgiu pasirengimo ES narystei ir narystės ES laikotarpiu iki 2009 metų. / This study entitled „Political Elite Euroscepticism in the Central Europe: the Czech Republic Case“ analyzes effects of Europeanization of the Eurosceptic Czech political elite, focusing on the Europeanization of centre-right Eurosceptic Civic Democratic Party during Czech Republic‘s accession to the European Union period and Eropean Union membership period till the year 2009. The first part of the study considered the theorethical approaches of political elite Euroscepticism and Europeanization of political parties and party systems. For the evaluation of Euroscepticism level of the Czech political elite in general and especially in the case of the Civic Democratic Party, the main concepts has been discussed and adapted using Aleks Szczerbiak, Paul Taggart and Petr Kopecky, Cas Mudde existing studies about the Central and Eastern Europe political elite Euroscepticism.
