Neverbální složky reklamního diskurzu z hlediska diachronního / Nonverbal elements of advertising discourse in a diachronic view

KLEINOVÁ, Petra January 2013 (has links)
The aim of diploma thesis is to cover the evolution and transformation of advertisement in connection with political, economical and social changes in the society in years 1918-1989. The work is primarily focused on nonverbal parts of the advertisement (image, color, graphics). For understanding of the advertisement as a whole it is necessary to take into account a verbal part too. Diploma thesis tries further to confirm or disprove a theory that advertisement can be one of the sources for cognition of values and standards of society. The work is divided into two big parts ? a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part contains general information about the advertisement that gives a summary about nature and functioning of the advertisement in particular historical periods. The theoretical part brings knowledge about an advertising discourse and its components (verbal and nonverbal) too. The important part of the work is classification of the advertisement into four stages of Czechoslovak society evolution in years 1918-1989. The second part of the work is focused on an analysis of acquired material that became the base for creation of whole this work. The database consists of six thousand advertisements acquired from printed journals. The material was collected in a period of more than one year. The basic sources were daily newspapers and between them especially their continuity in publishing was preferred. Due to the fact that the work tries to cover the period of seventy years long, the period of 1918-1989 is divided into four historical phases. Milestones of division into phases are important historical events that in consequence meant transformation of Czechoslovak society. Based on these social changes, changes of the advertisement and its nonverbal parts are monitored.

Deník Právo lidu v letech 1945-1948: Naděje, cíle a zmařené ideály / The Journal Pravo lidu 1945-1948:Hopes,Aims and Tattered Ideals

Plívová, Viktorie January 2011 (has links)
The daily Právo lidu (Peoples' Rights), a paper of the Czechoslovak Social Democratic Party (ČSSD), started to be published 12 of May 1945, immediately after a forced break during the Second World War. However, its renewed edition did not last much longer than mere three years. After the Social Democratic Party merged with the Communist Party the newspaper was closed, or more precisely "diverted" under the auspices of Rudé právo (Red right), the central organ of the Communist Party. My aim in writing this thesis is a study of this period as such, its presentation on the pages of Právo lidu, or a presentation of some major historical events on the pages of the diary and the form of the paper itself. The work is therefore divided into two main parts. The first is a theoretical introduction describing pivotal moments in the development of post-war Czechoslovakia, where I am focusing on the description of the aspects that shaped the period, formed the internal political situation and directed the former Czechoslovakia into the Soviet Union's sphere of influence. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the very analysis of the diary in the years 1945 - 1948, its form, its way of distributing the information and describing certain political moments, as well as the anchorage of the daily in party structures. Sen a snový obraz v dílech surrealistických umělců / The dream and the image of dream in the artworks of surrealist artists

LEXOVÁ, Petra January 2013 (has links)
The topic of this dissertation is the phemomenon of the dream, dreamy picture and their projection into the creation of surrealist artworks. The disertation tries to connect the basic knowledge of psychoanalysis and the history of art. The thesis attepmts to solve the questions of how the dream imagination is different from the imaginative art of the previous centuries and how the dream topics are involved in the artworks. One of the most important resources for the art work of surrealism was in the psychoanalysis and the knowledge of the work of Sigmund Freud. That is the reason why the first part of this thesis is dedicated to Freud?s The Interpretation of Dreams and the dream symbolism ? its origin, knowledge resources and reflection in the fine arts. The closing chapter uses the previously undiscovered knowledge to present the work of Jindřich Štýrský and tries to indicate how the dream imagination was projected to the artwork of this signifiant surrealist painter.

Situace německého obyvatelstva v Teplicích-Šanově v rámci transferu Němců z Československé republiky. / Situation of German population in Teplice-Šanov Regarding the Transfer of Germans from the Czechoslovak Republic.

Maříková, Jana January 2014 (has links)
This thesis uses archive materials to map the post-war situation of German population in a Czechoslovak district of Teplice-Šanov. Before the war, the German population made for more than 70% of the total population of this borderline area. In 1947 it was only about 7%. In the first months after the end of the war, 27,000 - 34,000 of German nationals were banished from the area. In the following transfers 29,487 were forced out between February and August of 1946. More Germans continued to leave the country after the regular transfers in additional transports up until 1950. Only some specific groups of German speaking inhabitants were permitted to stay in Czechoslovakia - antifascists, Austrians, German experts, people living in mixed marriages, some of the German clergy, and those who were pardoned. In Teplice-Šanov it was a considerably large group of specialists (especially in the field of mining) who remained. The issue of repopulating the regions affected by the expulsion of Germans is also addressed. Settlers from inland, other borderline areas, Slovakia and from abroad came to the Teplice-Šanov district. The total number of newcomers in May 1947 was 47,402. This thesis uses an actual example of one district to illustrate the complexity of post-war situation. The analysis of the stance of...

PADALÍK, Jiří January 2009 (has links)
The main purpose of the diploma thesis is to describe the development in the Czech-German relationships in Znojemsko region during the years 1918 {--} 1946. The inquiry is based on available archive sources and relevant literature. The diploma thesis is divided into four basic chapters. The first chapter summarizes the history of co-existence of both ethnics in the South Moravia until the foundation of Czechoslovakia in 1918. The following chapter is devoted to changes and development in relations among Czechs and Germans in Znojmo on the background of events which immediately followed after the World War I, whereas significant part is concerned with liberation of Znojmo in December 1918. The third chapter characterizes the Czech-German co-existence during the interwar period, especially in the context of taken elections. The last chapter describes demographical and national changes in the Znojemsko region during 1936 {--} 1946. The archive sources which are stored in the State Archive in Znojmo and the relevant literature are crucial for elaboration of the thesis. Visual materials are attached to the thesis; they serve as a complement to the text.
