The diploma thesis deals with selection and evaluation of phone accessories suppliers for ZONES s.r.o. company and evaluates their possible risks. In thesis is created decision model which is using fuzzy logic. The main part of the thesis consists of proposals for the evaluation of the company's suppliers. At the beginning of thesis are theoretical bases which will be used in the practical parts. Decision models are created in Microsoft Excel and MATLAB. The fuzzy model is based on requirements of the company. Another part of the thesis deals with analysis and comparison of results from both programs. The result of this thesis is the model which is easy to use and improves selection and evaluations of phone accessories for ZONES s.r.o. company.

The objective of this Master’s thesis is to find shape optimal design based on min- imizing friction force of thrust bearing by using genetic algorithm(GA) which is one of an optimization toolbox in Matlab. Reducing the friction force of thrust bearing is one way of making shaft to decreasing friction losses. With four parameters of thrust bearing geometry number of segments(m), angle of running surface(), segment inner radius(R0), and segment outer radius(R1) substitute in Reynolds’ equation. In order to know friction force, it is necessary to generate a connecting variable, oil film thickness(h0) from loading capacity(W ) and revolution per minute(rpm). Friction power loss, as well as weight func- tion conclude the final shape optimization of thrust bearing: m = 7, = 0.1, R0 = 15 mm, and R1 = 20 mm.

Master’s thesis contains the theory for realization of the researched software. Besides other, it describes Fourier transform, frequency response function, coherence, impulse response and group delay. Real life application of the software is discussed. Software is invented in the MatLab environment. Further, thesis provides testing of the software and shows its commented outcomes.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze various kinds of co-simulation techniques and to design integration these techniques into Lissom simulation platform. The first section of this thesis shows capabilities of external interfaces of simulation platforms for HDL languages VHDL, Verilog and SystemVerilog and of tool Matlab. This master’s thesis deals with the design of a simulator for measuring the response of a human operator in the MATLAB program and the Simulink extension. The first part summarizes the theory of mathematical models of human operator, which is followed by a description of a simulator for response measurement with a graphical user interface. In the last part, the basic measurement of human operator response to different scenarios, comparison of quality of control for different operators and identification of model for individual operators are performed.

This diploma thesis is focused on measurement of the physical quantities by fiber optic sensors based on multimode interference. The objective is to evaluate the appropriate method of signal provided by the spectrum analyzer. Firstly, a review of optics, optical phenomena and fibers is performed. The basic theory necessary for the realization of measurements and the principal of fiber optic sensors and SMS (singlemode–multimode–singlemode) structures are discussed. Finally, the automated measuring workplace for absorption spectrum measurement is created and described. Given data are finally evaluated by an artificial neural network and a sensor concept for practical utilization is designed.

This diploma thesis deals with the creation of sound from images. Before looking into the actual conversion of data, it takes into consideration the correlation between sound and images. Colour models of pictures used for the extraction of image data suitable for conversion into sound are examined here. Subsequently the work introduces methods for creating sound and changing its basic parameters. In order to present a suitable representation of sound, the work also explains the basics of music theory and methods of sound synthesis. The first part of the thesis offers two fully-fledged solutions using independent applications created in the MATLAB environment, where the basic principle is the division of the image into lines and the use of granular synthesis. The second part of the thesis describes the solution of the third application created in C++ language, where the emphasis is on adhering to the principles of music composition.

The main part of the diploma thesis deals with the creation of proposals for the solution of the evaluation of suppliers of a selected company. Decision models are created in Microsoft Excel and MATLAB. The comparison of the results of both proposed models is the content of the part of the work.

The diploma thesis deals with fuzzy logic and its use in business activities of a distribution company. Two models using fuzzy set theory are presented. These models are able to evaluate quality of customers through their attributes. Based on these calculations, they are classified into several price categories which differ in margin.

Master thesis deals with the evaluation of the quality of customers of the company ALVAO, s.r.o., using fuzzy logic. MS Excel and MATLAB programs were used for this evaluation, in which models will be created and programmed. The introductory part of the work is devoted to the theoretical background, which is necessary for understanding the whole issue. The second part of the work presents the company ALVAO, s. r. o.. In the design, main, part of the work are processed fuzzy models and a demonstration of the evaluation of real customers of the company.
