莊園不僅是俄羅斯歷史上十分重要且特殊的社會文化現象，而呈現在俄國文學中的形象亦是繽紛多彩且深具意涵。本論文旨在探討俄國莊園的文學形象，以分析岡察洛夫《奧勃洛莫夫》與屠格涅夫《貴族之家》中的莊園形象為主，研究兩本小說的莊園景物描繪、人物生活型態與思想觀念等所呈現出的兩種不同類形的莊園風格——類亞洲型(параазиатский тип)與類西歐型(параевропейский тип)，並同時探討莊園在小說中的功能、地位和象徵意義，及其背後所反映與傳達的歷史社會意涵，並於最後比較兩本小說在莊園形象的塑造上所呈現的特色與歧異點。
