本論文對於太宰治後期表達女性生命力的作品進行研究。這些作品雖是男性作家所書寫的作品，但是敘事者是由具主體性的女性所發聲而與男性的言論進行對抗，並且重新構築在制度內被他者化‧差別化的女體性。筆者著眼於這些問題點並進行考察。對於在太宰的女性敘事小說中的「男人的擬態」與「女人的不良」這種相對化構造上對峙的女性表現的表象上，檢驗太宰治的性別差異的構造並進行新的定位。
