My master's thesis which topic is "Satisfaction of patients with the services provided. An important indicator of quality of medical equipment " is mainly focused on satisfaction of patients with the services provided in the Hospital České Budějovice, a.s. Furthermore, the mapping focused on overall satisfaction with care in the already mentioned Hospital České Budějovice and on exploring whether patients evaluate the quality of information provided by a medical doctor in this hospital affirmatively and whether they are satisfied with care of local nurses. The satisfaction of patients is an important indicator of the quality of care provided, which has an impact on their status of basic human needs. One main purpose was determined: Monitoring the satisfaction of patients with the services provided in the Hospital České Budějovice, a.s. and this purpose was fulfilled. Quantitative research was executed, to its realization the interview method was used. By means of the technique of standardized anonymous questionnaires on the basis of the above-mentioned purpose,the 3 following hypothesis were verified: 1) Patients are satisfied with the overall care in the Hospital České Budějovice, a.s. 2) Interviewed patients evaluate the quality of information provided by a medical doctor in the Hospital České Budějovice, a.s. affirmatively 3) Interviewed patients are satisfied with the care of nurses in the Hospital České Budějovice, a.s. I processed the data to confirm or refute the pre-established hypotheses. The evaluation of the data was carried out using statistical nonparametric methods, Chi-square test and the chosen level of significance of p=0.05. The results of the research have been clearly processed into the tables and graphs. The program Microsoft Office Excel 2010 was used to process the results.

The dissertation concentrates on the education of imprisoned persons in remand prison České Budějovice. The theoretical part contains the meaning of education for such persons and for the whole society, furthermore it takes into consideration the current system of education of those persons in Czech Republic and the contribution of specific penitentiary personnel on the whole process and on the effort of increasing the quality of inmate's life. The practical part contains direct research of the offered education in the remand prison České Budějovice. Fifteen narrative dialogues with inmates were used. These persons were talking about their respective lives with a special ephasis on their level of education, their relation to the field they were educated in, whether they would appreciate a broader offer of education while imprisoned and how they see their future regarding the education. These dialogues were compared with the outcome of the theoretical part and in the closing hypothetical recommendations regarding education of the inmates for the Prison service of Czech Republic were stated.

The aim of this thesis was to write a monograph of the painter František Jakub Prokyš, who lived and worked in 18th century in the south of Bohemia. The first part is text put together from thoroughly examined archival sources and literature. It deals with the painter's private and professional life. The text is separated into compact chapters. The events are arranged chronologically. There are also included notes explaining in more detail the profiles of his customers. The main part of the text is the thorough cataloguing of Prokyš's works of art. The works are separated into groups according to the type of work such as pendant pictures, wall paintings, no longer existing works of art and other attributed works. Each catalogue entry has a unified structure. There is the title, technique, dating and origin at the beginning. Then follows the list of the archival sources and literature. In cases where it was possible, historical information about the works of art is included. An important part of the text is the description of the art piecework of art and its comparison with the painter's other works. This thesis deals with research in the use possibilities of organic food in kindergartens in the town of České Budějovice on two levels (management and parents).It was found out that some of the kindergartens are using organic food. The biggest barrier to the using of organic food in kindergartens is their price. Most parents are satisfied with the quality of food in their kindergartens. Furthermore it could be said, that the parents know organic food but it can?t be confirmed the hypothesis that says parents would welcome the use of organic food in kindergarten?s canteens. The results indicate that not all the parents are able to accept the minimum of price increase in meal at the kindergartens. In the end there are recommended some local organic food which could be appropriate for using in the kindergartens in the town of České Budějovice.

The dissertation deals with the history of financial management in the current borders of the region of České Budějovice from 1918 to the present day. It is focused only to the sphere of tax and customs administration because of the topic breadth. The purpose of this dissertation is to find and analyse the current organization of tax administration.

This thesis is concerned with the issues of spending leisure time by the seniors within The Municipal Association of pensioners CZ, České Budějovice, which unites seniors and accordingly to its possibilities offers them activities for spending leisure time. The thesis explains basic concepts and specifics concerning old age, introduces demands on spending leisure time in the old age and also brings a more detailed look at the leisure time activities which the mentioned organization offers. The thesis includes a research focused on active members of The Municipal Association of pensioners CZ, České Budějovice and deals with the question whether the leisure time activities provide the seniors self-realization and necessary social integration. By the carried out research it was confirmed that the organization brings the seniors natural relationship network and friends. The research also proved that the offer of leisure time activities allows universal spending of leisure time and helps to keep the seniors active. As a result of evaluation of the research the thesis offers suggestions on improving or extension of the leisure time activities so that they better correspond to the needs of the members of The Municipal Association of pensioners CZ, České Budějovice.

The thesis deals with an analysis of marketing communication instruments in the destination of České Budějovice. Pursuant of an analysis the current instruments of marketing communication are identified and the efficiency is evaluated. The one part of the thesis is also the suggestion of on optimal communication mix and the measures with contribute to the next development of marketing communication of the destination České Budějovice.

In 2011 and 2012, dramatic changes were made to the health care reform in the Czech Republic. As a consequence, almost the complete legislation related to traumatological planning was changed. This reform primarily introduced two new types of operating divisions; a department of emergency preparedness, as for the emergency medical service providers, and a contact point, from the aspect of emergency inpatient care providers. Emergency preparedness primarily processes a concept of the traumatological plan for the emergency medical service and introduces potential changes. The contact point, as a department of the emergency inpatient care with continuous operation, receives calls from the emergency medical service, especially in the event of emergencies and crisis situations. The given Master's Diploma Thesis entitled "Cooperation of the Trauma Centre of the Hospital České Budějovice and Medical Operation Center of the Emergency Medical Service of the South Bohemian Region in the Event of Mass-Casualty Incident" develops a key issue of the interconnection of traumatological plans established by health service providers within the South Bohemian Region and the level of their cooperation. Then the work analyses three mass-casualty incidents which happened in the past within the area and the level of involvement and cooperation of the aforementioned departments, i.e. the Hospital's trauma centre and Medical Operation Centre upon the Medical Emergency Centre of the Region of South Bohemia. The Diploma Thesis proceeds from the qualitative research which is divided into two parts. The first one defines the V1 research question specifying the role of the Traumatological Plan of the South Bohemian health care during the cooperation with the trauma centre under the Hospital České Budějovice and medical operation centre of the Medical Emergency Service of the South Bohemian Region in the event of a mass-casualty incident. By using a comparative method, which assessed the three traumatological plans, the level of cooperation did not exceed more than 20 % owing to the fact that the Traumatological Plan of the South Bohemian health care is out-dated. As a consequence, the answer to the V1 research question was following: The role of the Traumatological Plan of the South Bohemian health care with the cooperation of the trauma centre under the Hospital České Budějovice and Medical operation centre of the Medical Emergency Service of the South Bohemian Region in the event of a mass-casualty incident is insignificant. The second part develops the V2 research question: whether the failure in communication between the aforementioned trauma centre and medical operation centre could have any impact on the injured in the event of a mass-casualty incident. The qualitative research with the use of a method of analysis implemented during the previous mass-casualty incidents and interviews with four operators working for the medical operation centre and four doctors working at the accident, emergency and plastic surgery department provided the second answer to the V2 research question: Failure in communication between the two aforementioned departments could have a significant impact on the injured in the event of a mass-casualty incident. In the end, the thesis refers to the dramatic difference between the ideal traumatological planning and the current situation pointing out the Traumatological Plan of the South Bohemian healthcare which has not been updated for three and a half years since the reform. The given work also describes the issue of the ideal solution to the establishment of contact points in hospitals and compares it with the current situation at the Hospital České Budějovice where the contact point was established only in order to comply with the legislation, i.e. the contact point is based in the operating centre of medical transport.

Socio-spatial differentiation is natural phenomenon observable in almost all scales. However, the causes and consequences of this phenomenon can be different in particular areas or the era. Income inequality has increased in the Czech Republic since 1989, as well as unemployment and various social problems, which are reflected in the social environment of villages and towns as well as in municipal decision-making. The aim of the diploma thesis is to identify social (educational) diferentiation at several spatial hierarchy levels. The main part of the thesis emphasizes understanding the evolution of socio-spatial differentiation at local level in micro-region České Budějovice from 1989 to the present using the education level of the population and identifies areas with positive and negative development. The education is considered as the indicator of socio- economic status, human capital or relative income. The intention of the thesis is to identify the areas with higher concentration of people with higher and lower socio-economic status and also find the main factors and mechanisms that create these spatial patterns.
