Σκοπός της διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η ανάπτυξη εφαρμογών σε περιβάλλον έξυπνων κινητών. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δόθηκε σε περιβάλλοντα Android όπου και αναπτύχθηκαν δίαφορες εφαρμογές. Παραδείγματα αυτών είναι η ανάπτυξη εφαρμογών που διαχειρίζονταν πόρους με το Eclipse, εξερευνούσαν στοιχεία οθόνης διεπαφής καθώς έκαναν και ανταλλαγή δεδομένων από μία web εφαρμογή. Κατ’ επέκταση αυτή η εφαρμογή κάνει parsing δηλαδή ανταλλαγή δεδομένων από μια web εφαρμογή σε ένα Android app προκειμένου να έχουμε πρόσβαση σ’ ένα σύστημα που φτιάξαμε το οποίο λέγεται CloudVille και δίνει την δυνατότητα στον χρήστη που χρησιμοποιεί αυτή την υποδομή να δει τους πόρους που έχει χρησιμοποιήσει μέσα από το κινητό του. / The aim of this thesis is to develop intelligent applications in mobile environment. Particular emphasis was placed in environments where Android and developed various applications. Examples are the development of applications that manage resources with Eclipse, exploring data screen interface as they did and exchange data from one web application. By extension this application makes parsing that exchange data from a web application to an Android app to have access to a system that we built which is said CloudVille and enables the user using this infrastructure to see who has the resources through the use of mobile.

A Web application that deploys on a set of servers and can be accessed by a large number of users over the Internet requires efficient security mechanisms. The core element in security is access control that enforces desired policies over the shared objects of the system and stops the unauthorised users to operate on these objects. Moreover, the used access control mechanism needs to be managed, through authorisation management elements, during the run-time of the system by the administrators. Therefore, the development of such models and their mechanisms are a main concern for secure systems development. Fine-grained access control and their authorisation management models provide more customisation possibilities and administrative power to the developers; however, in Web applications these models are typically hand-coded without taking advantage of the data model, object types, or contextual information. This thesis presents the design, implementation and evaluation of (), a declarative, fine-grained policy language that enables the developer to define a set of fine-grained access control and authorisation management models for a Web application. For () three types of access control and authorisation management models were designed and implemented. These models, used by (), are based on four main access control approaches, namely attribute-, discretionary-, mandatory-, and role-based access control models. For efficiency and flexibility, each access control model can be used with an authorisation management model. () compiler, first validates and verifies all these models based on written transformation strategies and verifies them by translating them into logical satisfiability problems to check the models for correctness and completeness, and against independently defined coverage criteria. If the models pass these tests, the generator then compiles them down to the existing tiers of WebDSL, a domain specific Web programming language.

Το αντικείμενο της παρούσας διπλωματικής είναι η μελέτη της διαδικασίας ανάπτυξης εφαρμογών για το λειτουργικό σύστημα Android. Το λειτουργικό σύστημα Android αποτελεί μια τεχνολογία η οποία μέρα με την μέρα κερδίζει μεγαλύτερο μερίδιο στην αγορά των έξυπνων τηλεφώνων. Σήμερα, κατέχει την πρώτη θέση με τετρακόσια εκατομμύρια ενεργές συσκευές. Το γεγονός αυτό καθιστά την αγορά των εφαρμογών Android μία πολλά υποσχόμενη περιοχή για ανάπτυξη επιχειρηματικής δραστηριότητας. Η μελέτη ξεκινά με μία γενική επισκόπηση του κόσμου του Android καθώς και των εργαλεί- ων που είναι απαραίτητα για την ανάπτυξη εφαρμογών σε αυτόν. Στην συνέχεια γίνεται μία σύντο- μη ανάλυση της δομής του λειτουργικού συστήματος και τον τμημάτων που το αποτελούν καθώς και μία παρουσίαση των βασικών αρχών σχεδίασης διεπαφών χρήστη. Τέλος παρουσιάζονται μερι- κές βασικές προγραμματιστικές δομές που είναι απαραίτητες για την συγγραφή εφαρμογών και παρουσιάζεται η διαδικασία υποβολής μίας εφαρμογής στην Google προς πώληση. Για την καλύτερη εξοικείωση του αναγνώστη γίνεται παρουσίαση τεσσάρων απλών εφαρμο- γών που χρησιμοποιούν τις προγραμματιστικές δομές που αναλύονται στο κείμενο. Το περιεχόμενο της εργασίας είναι η διαδικασία ανάπτυξης της εφαρμογής "Patras' Taxi" για την πλατφόρμα συσκευών smartphone Google Android. Η εφαρμογή είναι μια ψηφιακή εκδοχή του κλασικού αναλογικού ταξιμέτρου που βρίσκεται εγκατεστημένο στα οχήματα ταξί και προορίζεται για χρήση στην πόλη της Πάτρας και την ευρύτερη περιοχή. / The content of the paper is the process of development of the "Patras' Taxi" application, for smartphone devices with Google Android. The application is a digital version of the classic analog taximeter that is installed in taxis and is destined for use in the city of Patras and the surrounding area.

Στην παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία παρουσιάζεται η ανάπτυξη μιας εφαρμογής σε περιβάλλον iPhone, η οποία έχει ως σκοπό την διευκόλυνση της πρόσβασης των φοιτητών στο χώρο του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, προσφέρει δεδομένα σχετικά με τον χώρο του Πανεπιστημίου και την αστική συγκοινωνία της Πάτρας και προσφέρει στον χρήστη την δυνατότητα της καθοδήγησης από ένα σημείο της πόλης σε άλλο. / This diploma dissertation concerns the development of an iPhone application, aiming to facilitate the access of the students to the University of Patras. It provides information over the University of Patras grounds and the traffic network of Patras, as well as the ability for the user to be navigated from one part of the city to another.
