Datová kontinuita v projektování / Data Continuity in Project Design

Nevřelová, Monika January 2019 (has links)
This work deals with the implementation of data continuity within the project documentation. This data continuity is implemented in order to follow the Industry 4.0 philosophy, already in the early design phase of the project. The project also gives an example of the implementation of the Internet of Things and the possibility of using it in industrial zones.

Moderní trendy v třískovém obrábění - soustružení, frézování a vrtání / Modern manufacturing trends in chip machining - turning, milling and driling

Moravčik, Jaroslav January 2019 (has links)
Chip machining has strong historical foundation. First innovations in machining were created long ago and next Innovations appeared sporadically. The Industrial revolution and then the second half of 20th Century meant start of self–driven, programmable machines used in machining. This led interest of engineers to machining process itself. The aim of this Diploma thesis is to characterize most interesting modern trends from last few years and unite them in electronical database which will be included in this thesis. Main attention is aimed for innovations in chip machining in general and also in specific branches – turning, milling and drilling. Thesis also includes discussion about economical aspect of application of modern trends in chip machining.

Implementace a vyhodnocení komunikační technologie LoRaWAN v simulačním prostředí NS-3 / Implementation of the LoRaWAN Communication Technology Using the Network Simulator 3

Mašek, Petr January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on the description of LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) technologies for use in IoT (Internet of Things) communication scenarios. The theoretical part compares communication technologies operating in the license-exempt frequency band, i.e. Sigfox and LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network). Furthermore, technologies using the licensed frequency spectrum are discussed, specifically, attention is focused on NB-IoT (Narrow Band IoT). Emphasis is placed on LoRaWAN technology and the properties of the unlicensed frequency band below the 1 GHz, which is utilized by this technology. The practical part of the thesis consists of the evaluation of simulation scenarios using an integrated module in the simulation environment NS-3 (Network Simulator 3). Attention is focused mainly on the analysis of data transmission success using selected communication parameters of LoRaWAN technology. The obtained simulation outputs with a focus on mMTC (massive Machine-Type Communication) communication scenarios confirm the relationship between the number of end devices and gateways, communication distance and transmission reliability, or the limit value for the duty cycle.

How Industry 4.0 Technologies Can Support a Human-Centric Supply Chain : An Exploratory Multiple Case Study with Manufacturers and Service Providers

Rothengatter, Thomas, Van der Duin, Petronella January 2022 (has links)
Background: The use of technologies and digitization has become unavoidable in recent years to improve organizational efficiency and competitiveness. Even though companies are still adopting Industry 4.0 technologies, the next industrial revolution is approaching. Researchers argue for the importance of human-centricity in industries to provide benefits for all stakeholders involved. However, in literature, it is unexplored how human-centricity can be achieved with Industry 4.0 technologies, especially in a supply chain context.  Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore how Industry 4.0 technologies can support a human-centric supply chain. Method: An exploratory, qualitative study was conducted to gain an in-depth understanding of the research phenomenon. A holistic multiple case study provided empirical findings through semi-structured interviews. An inductive thematic analysis has been performed, which enabled the findings to emerge from the data. Conclusion: The human-centric focus is being acknowledged and the case companies are actively focusing on technological implementations to improve it. Thecreation of a safe, creative, and attractive work environment, where workers are actively involved in implementation processes, and heavy labor and repetitive tasks are replaced, will result in a positive cycle towards human-centricity and technological innovations. Companies will first have to overcome implementation barriers and focus on technological innovations that support human-centricity within the boundaries of the firms. This can then be followed by enhanced supply chain collaborations.

Využití internetu věcí v řízení dodavatelského řetězce / Use of the Internet of Things in Supply Chain Management

Prokopová, Iva January 2017 (has links)
The thesis deals with the description of possibilities of using the Internet of Things in supply chain management and explores the use of the Internet of Things in the supply chain management among Czech companies. The theoretical part deals with the possibilities of using the Internet of Tings in the supply chain management as well as the developing standards and technologies, which make it possible to use these possibilities. The theoretical part further includes the challenges and risks of the Internet of Things that need to be dealt with when implementing it and the further anticipated development in this area. A survey based on the findings of the theoretical part of the thesis revealed the awareness of Czech businesses about the Internet of Things and how they plan to use it. The practical part of the thesis contains the evaluation of the hypotheses formulated on the basis of the results of this survey and discussion of the facts.

Automatizace výroby statorů elektromotorů / Automation of stators production

Šula, Martin January 2020 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a robotic workplace layout for finishing operations on the stator of an electric motor. Three variants of the workplace layout were created, these variants were evaluated, and then the most suitable variant was selected. Suitable subcomponents have been created for this variant, such as the end effector, deburring spindles, rotary stand and milling table. A risk analysis was also created for her to ensure the safety and protection of the operator. The most suitable variant was transferred to the Process Simulate software, where its functionality was verified and the real cell cycle was determined.
