Corporate Social Responsibility v bankovním sektoru / Corporate Social Responsibility in the banking sector

The aim of this Master's thesis is to analyze the system of Corporate Social Responsibility in the banking sector, to propose some measures for solution of identified deficiencies and ways of evaluating the effectiveness of implemented activities. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to the issue of Corporate Social Responsibility, presents its basic characteristics and principles, related and often confused concepts and arguments for the acceptance or rejection of the concept into business practice. There is also described the situation in the Czech Republic and also in selected countries of the European Union. The practical part analyzes the system of socially responsible activities in Česká spořitelna, a.s. and deals with a proposal of specific indicators of implemented activities, which can allow the organization to monitor their effectiveness.

The main aim of this study is to define the cooking activity spaces in Burgaz at 4th Century B.C. by carrying out statistical analysis of artefacts come from floor levels. In this study the distribution of artefacts and the associations of these distributions with architectural remains are examined rather than architectural features. In order to defining cooking activity spaces, the spatial distribution of cooking wares and utilities were taken into consideration. The distributions of cooking wares were tried to associate with ashy areas that can be related to cooking activities. In this study, the spatial analysis of archaeological artefacts assemblages that found in four well preserved houses from NE Sector revealed during the excavations of Burgaz (1993-2003) was carried out and the space usage, especially cooking spaces, were identified in these houses.

The central theme of the diploma thesis is incorporation of media education at the first stage of primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis briefly defines the basic concepts related to media education, offers an insight into historcal background and gradual integration of media education into the Czech educational system and, last but not least, introduces current state of this cross-curricular topic at Czech schools. The practical part is devoted to a research survey aimed at finding out which didactic topics of media education are mostly reflected in educational materials intended for the first stage of primary school and at the same time at ascertaining how the pupils are mostly involved in media education in terms of task assignments contained in teaching materials. The results of the research show that the most frequently reflected topics of media education that appear in educational materials are advertising, its regulation and influence and characteristics and function of traditional media. In case of the method of pupils involvement in media education, the research findings show that pupils are mostly called upon to receptive activities. To obtain the results of the research survey, qualitative content analysis of selected teaching materials was used.

Este estudio presenta algunos de los resultados de un diplomado en educación Inicial Comunitaria realizado durante el ciclo escolar 2011-2012, con un total de doscientas horas, en el que participaron 35 maestras indígenas de educación Inicial que atienden a niñas y niños de 0 a 3 años de edad en comunidades marginadas de Oaxaca, méxico. Las actividades espontáneas de las niñas y los niños, y las planeadas de las maestras, que fueron analizadas a partir de las fotografías y narraciones de las maestras, forman parte de los portafolios de evidencias escritas y fotográficas que entregaron las participantes como su producto final del diplomado. Las metas deldiplomado eran enriquecer los conocimientos comunales de las par- ticipantes y proveerles las competencias necesarias para investigar y honrar las prácticas comunales, las formas de gobernarse y las perspectivas de las comunidades originarias rurales donde enseñan, para poder generar una educación Inicial auténtica, alternativa y comunal para los niños y niñas desde esta edad temprana. / This study provides partial results of a 200-hour intensive training experience (called a diplomado) lasting one school year (2011-2012) for 35 indigenous teachers of Initial education who attend children 0 to 3 years old in marginalized communities of Oaxaca, mexico. Children’s spontaneous activities and those planned by teachers, presented through photographs and accompanying teacher’ narratives, are part of the written and photographic evidence submitted by the participants in their final diplomado portfolio of tasks. the purposes of the diplomado were to enrich teachers’communal knowledge and equip them with research skills to investigate and honor the communal practices, forms of governance, and the perspectives of the rural indigenous communities where they teach, in order to generate an authentic, alternative, community-based approach to initial education for babies and toddlers.
