The main objective of this work is to present strategies for both reading and reading intervention for elementary and junior high school students. In this sense, this work has as specific aims: a) Cross-checking different traditional practices of reading intervention against “solidarity” practices of reading intervention; b) Verifying in which way the relationships teacher-student-book-teacher are established during reading practices; c) Demonstrating how the practices and strategies of reading occur in a critical-reflexive proposal (in analogous ways to what occurs in Student Academy Of Letters); and d) Outlining strategies that can be incorporated into teaching practices. For such, we reflect upon the conceptions of reading presented in this work, and compare them with practices of solidarity reading which reveal to us another possible path towards the training of readers from a critical-reflexive educational practice, that instigates and develops epistemological curiosity within reading communities. This research is theoretically based upon Freire (2013), Silva (1996), Kleimann (2004) and Solé (1998) who address the teaching and training of the student as a critical and reflexive subject. Keywords: / O presente trabalho trata da descrição de estratégias de leitura voltadas à formação de sujeitos leitores autônomos, tendo como objetivo geral apresentar estratégias de leitura e de intervenção leitora direcionadas ao Ensino Fundamental II. Nessa direção, foram definidos como objetivos específicos: a) comparar diferentes práticas de intervenção leitora tradicionais com práticas de intervenção leitora “solidárias”; b) verificar de que forma as relações professor x aluno x livro x professor se estabelecem nas práticas de leitura; c) mostrar de que forma ocorrem as práticas e as estratégias de leitura numa proposta crítico-reflexiva (como a Academia Estudantil de Letras) e d) levantar estratégias que possam ser incorporadas às práticas docentes. Para tanto, refletimos sobre as concepções de leitura tradicionais e comparamos com práticas de leitura solidárias que nos revelam um outro caminho possível para a formação de leitores a partir de uma prática educativa crítico-reflexiva que instiga e desenvolve a curiosidade epistemológica dentro de comunidades leitoras. Apoiamos teoricamente esta pesquisa nas obras de Freire (2013), Silva (1996), Kleimann (2004) e Solé (1998) que abordam sobre o ensino e a formação do sujeito leitor crítico e reflexivo .
