A pesquisa se realizou por meio da Afroperspectiva enquanto método com referências na etnografia e em estudos situados no contexto geopolítico do Mundo Africano: Continente- Diáspora, e América Latina, dentre outros em diálogo. Assim, os dados coletados, nas conversas aprofundadas e no convívio com os grupos e demais participantes da pesquisa, foram registrados, transcritos, organizados e interpretados à luz da análise de conteúdo por meio de uma descrição densa. O capítulo I - Áfricas, apresenta a desmistificação da África enquanto ponto de partida para conhecer e estudar as culturas negras, cuja raiz de sua expressão é africana. O texto desconstrói o imaginário negativo sobre África e sua conceituação de diáspora para trazer a África e suas múltiplas dimensões enquanto territórios civilizatórios espalhados pelo mundo. Assim, localiza-se o Congado como uma herança afrodiaspórica no Brasil. No capítulo II, apresenta-se as concepções da Afroperspectiva enquanto método que sustenta tanto as categorias teóricas e práticas dessa pesquisa quanto as ações da pesquisadora em interlocução e em incursão no campo Brasil-África; é pela lente da Afroperspectiva que apresentamos os caminhos de compreensão do Congado. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This thesis is dedicated to unveiling Africa and its cultural elements present in the practices, celebrations and imaginary of its descendants. It seeks to identify, describe and understand the African permanences within the Congado and in what way they influence the identity of the groups and the sense of belonging of its participants. The research was carried out through Afropperspective as a method with references in ethnography and in studies situated in the geopolitical context of the African World: Continent-Diaspora, and Latin America, among others in dialogue. Thus, the collected data, in the deep conversations and in the conviviality with the groups and other participants of the research, were recorded, transcribed, organized and interpreted in light of the analysis of content by means of a dense description. Chapter I - Africa, presents the demystification of Africa as a starting point for learning about and studying black cultures, whose roots are African. The text deconstructs the negative imaginary about Africa and its conception of diaspora to bring Africa and its multiple dimensions as civilizing territories scattered around the world. Thus, the Congado is located like an afrodiasporic inheritance in Brazil.
