O estudo destes jornais dá acesso ao interessante jogo de estratégias, influências e conflitos presentes nesses diálogos, e ajuda a entender o contexto em que eram publicados os textos literários e o papel que exerciam, possibilitando, portanto, pensar que características da literatura tomavam-na importante para o proselitismo libertário / Abstract: This dissertation deals with the relation between anarchist propaganda and the literature printed by libertarian newspapers which were published in São Paulo from 1900 to 1916. It analyses several literary texts found on those papers, and aims at understanding the sense literature had for propaganda, for militancy, and the way it was introduced in anarchist press. Amog the various activities held by militants, founding, making and supporting the newspapers come out not only due to the efforts the formers employed to do so, but also because of the role the latters played: papers represented the most important means of communication among militants, between them and workers, and also between them and more privileged segments of society. The study of such papers makes it possible to observe the various estrategies, influences and conflicts implied in those dialogues, and helps to comprehend the context in which literary texts were published and their importance, as well as the characteristics that made literature important for anarchist proselytism / Mestrado / Mestre em Teoria e História Literária
