Este trabalho teve como propósito central investigar a sonoridade jobiniana na obra Matita Perê (1973), de Tom Jobim e Paulo César Pinheiro. Para isso, concentrou-se em pesquisar de que maneira Claus Ogerman contribuiu para o resultado idealizado por Jobim, isto é, como o arranjador e o compositor, ambos com suas referências pessoais e distintas, somaram-se para a construção desse resultado sonoro. Partiu da análise da canção Matita Perê, das observações dos processos de construção da orquestração e das interfaces poéticas. Objetivou ampliar o conhecimento da obra de Antônio Carlos Brasileiro de Almeida Jobim, contribuindo, assim, para a compreensão do legado do cancioneiro brasileiro. O resultado concreto deste estudo acadêmico foi a construção das partituras digitalizadas e fiéis às gravações originais de Matita Perê, deixando-as disponíveis para o público interessado / The main purpose of this work was to investigate the jobinian sonority in the song Matita Perê (1973), by Tom Jobim and Paulo César Pinheiro. For this, we concentrated on the research of how Claus Ogerman contributed to the result designed by Jobim, and how the arranger and the composer, both with their personal and distinct references, worked together to build this sonority. This research is based on the analysis of the song Matita Perê, the observations of the building processes of the orchestration and the poetic interfaces. It aimed at broadening the knowledge of the musical work of Antônio Carlos Brasileiro de Almeida Jobim, thus contributing to the understanding of the legacy of the Brazilian song writer. The substantial result of this academic research was the construction of computer edited musical scores of the original recording of Matita Perê, making them available for future studies.

O presente trabalho propõe uma investigação analítica da Obra sinfônica Brasília Sinfonia da Alvorada (1961). Objetivamos compreender o processo composicional de Antônio Carlos Jobim (19271994) mediante estudo acerca do tratamento dado pelo compositor ao material sinfônico. O ideário poético formado após uma viagem do compositor à cidade de Brasília no momento de sua construção indica a existência de um programa narrativo condutor da peça. Percebido inicialmente através dos textos recitados por Vinícius de Moraes na gravação da Obra, assim como pelos textos escritos por Antônio Carlos Jobim na contracapa do LP, procedeu-se a uma investigação analítica para revelar níveis subliminares entre este ideário e o material musical. Por meio dessa investigação buscamos discernir e colocar em relevo: a articulação de idéias e concepções musicais presentes no processo composicional jobiniano, seu trabalho de criação e desenvolvimento, utilização de materiais extra musicais, técnicas e linguagens, auto-citações e a assimilação e utilização de obras referenciais de outros compositores. Pretendemos uma reflexão direta e específica acerca de sua obra, procurando ampliar e renovar conceitos sobre a mesma. / This work proposes an analytical investigation of the symphonic Work Brasília Sinfonia da Alvorada (1961). Our aim is to comprehend the compositional process of Antônio Carlos Jobim (1927-1994) by studying how the composer treated the symphonic material. The poetic set of ideas created after the composer went to the city of Brasília at the time of its construction indicates the existence of a narrative program conducting the play. This has been initially perceived through the texts recited by Vinícius de Moraes during the recording of the Work, as well as through the texts written by Antônio Carlos Jobim on the LP back cover. Thus we performed an analytical investigation to reveal subthreshold levels between these principles and the musical material. We tried, through this investigation, to discriminate and highlight: the articulation of ideas and musical conceptions present in Jobims compositional process, his creation and development work, the use of non-musical extra materials, techniques and languages, self quotations and the assimilation and use of reference works of other composers. We intend to do a direct and specific reflection of his work, trying to increase and renew its concepts.
