______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This research aims to explore the artistic possibilities, theoretical and practical of nanoart. In this text are informations about nanoscience and nanotechnology and their relationship with art. To understand the poetic of nanoscale, we need understand the values inversion caused by paradigmatic changes between classical physics to quantum physics. Artworks of the artists Victoria Vesna and James Gimzewski, Sachiko Kodama, Christa Sommerer and Laurent Mignonneau, Tania Fraga, SCIArts Group, Eufrásio Prates, Frederik de Wilde, Dmitry Gelfand and Evelina Domnitch, helps us to understand what kind of relationships are between the art concepts and the paradigms generated by techno-scientific advances. The ideas of some artists and the art researcher Roy Ascott, directs to intriguing nanoart theories that establish relations to our consciousness. In addition, the practical work developed here, brings the experience of the magnetic fluid, provocative nanotechnologycal material, which meets the scientific and philosophical issues that question the reality and our traditional way of seeing things. At the work “Nanoarte: a poética do espírito”, we realize that the invisible starts to become visible.
