By analysis, the effort of Annita Cabral for the formation and creation of a bachelorship course at Universidade de São Paulo was identified. Are her initiatives the creation of the Sociedade de Psicologia de São Paulo and the Associação Brasileira de Psicólogos essential for the organization and institutional representation of the psychologists of São Paulo at their claims. It was concluded that the participation of the psychologists of São Paulo was essential for the formation and the definition of the professional psychologist s legal attributions as established at present / O objetivo deste trabalho é sistematizar informações dispostas em documentos e publicações a respeito da participação dos psicólogos de São Paulo na regulamentação da profissão de psicólogo no Brasil. Pela análise, foi identificado o empenho de Annita Cabral pela formação e para a criação de um curso de bacharelado em psicologia na Universidade de São Paulo. São também iniciativas suas a criação da Sociedade de Psicologia de São Paulo e da Associação Brasileira de Psicólogos fundamentais para organização e representação institucional dos psicólogos de São Paulo em suas reivindicações. Concluiu-se que a participação dos psicólogos de São Paulo foi fundamental para a formação e definição das atribuições do profissional psicólogo como estão atualmente estabelecidas
