A survey of storage of audio-visual materials in eight educational television stationsUnknown Date (has links)
"Most stations probably keep various materials in order that they may be used again. Because there is a definite saving of time if materials are stored systematically and are readily available, the question arises as to how the various educational television stations in the country maintain a record of what they have produced and obtained in the way of audio-visual materials which will probably be useful in later programming. The purpose of this study, therefore, is to: (1) determine what types of audio-visual materials educational television stations store; (2) learn of the physical arrangement of the storage of these materials; and (3) ascertain if these materials are indexed, and, if so, in what manner. In order to answer these questions, it was decided that a survey of the methods of storage of audio-visual materials in educational stations at least five years old would be attempted"--Introduction. / Typescript. / "June, 1961." / "Submitted to the Graduate School of Florida State University in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science." / Advisor: Ruth H.
