This diploma thesis “Determination of the economical development of a construction company” deals with conceiving of financial analysis of a particular construction company based on publicly available financial statements. An elementary analysis of balance sheet and income statement is gradually elaborated, followed by an analysis of chosen ratio indicators and overall indicators. The conclusion is dedicated to the company’s evaluation and further recommendations for the future development.

This master thesis deals with the proposal of a company financial plan. In the first part are defined the theoretical principles of financial planning. The second part of the thesis focuses on the introduction of the selected company, which is followed by strategic and financial analysis of the current situation. Subsequently, we move on to the part the financial and strategic analysis, which evaluates the situation of 2015-2019. Based on the results of the analysis, a financial plan is created for company. This financial plan is compiled for the year 2020-2023 in two variants, optimistic and pessimistic. Finally, the finanxial plan is evaluated.
