The thesis is focused on the application of brick powder in production of binary alkali-activated binders with metakaolin, slag and fly ash. The theoretical part summarizes recent fields of use of the ceramic waste in construction and binder industry and prerequisite properties of the brick powder for alkaline activation. Brick powder based geopolymers made in the experimental work were tested for their mechanical properties, porosity and microstructure, flow properties of the fresh geopolymers were evaluated by rheometric measurements. In accordance with the results it can be concluded that brick powder could be a suitable precursor for blended binders with metakaolin and slag, these samples exhibited good mechanical properties and microstructure characteristics. The combination with fly ash was less applicable due to a rapid setting, hardening retarder used in these binders caused significant deterioration of the mechanical properties of the material.

This diploma thesis is studing the possibilities of influencing the optoelectric properties of printed light emitting panels, which work on the principle of electroluminescence excited by alternating electric field. The aim of this worrk is to monitor the influence od dielectric properties of electroluminescent phosphor binder on the targeted electroluminescence. In the theoretical part of this thesis, there are described principles of electroluminescence, suitable materials methods of characterization and preparation of panels using printing techniques. Experiment part contains electrical characterization of selected binders to determine their dielectric constants. Subsequently, printing pastes were formulated in different weight ratios of binder electroluminescent phosphor and model light-emitting panels were prepared. Optoelectric characterization was used to determine the change in irradiance. It was found that the dielectric properties of the binder significantly affect the resulting irradinace. It has same irradiance for a smaller amount od phosphor than with the binder with a low dielectric constant. The finding of this work can be used to improve the luminosity at the electroluminescent panels.

It is an insulating material with the requirement of resistance to high temperatures - 200 ° C and 500 ° C. Type of material is determined by the way of reducing density - direct and indirect. Direct is achieved by adding lightweight aggregates, indirect is achieved by gas evolution through chemical reaction and the subsequent incorporation of gas into the structure of the material. This thesis is part of the MPO TIP č. FR-TI 2/340 project.

The subject of this Ing. thesis is asphalt mixture with increasing RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement). The theoretical part defines the terms of recycling and RAP and types of recycling. The practical part is devoted to the production and testing of asphalt mixtures with different volume RAP. The proposed asphalt mixture is asphalt concrete for base layer ACP22 +. Content of RAP in mixtures is 0%, 30%, 50% and 70%. As a special additive to soften the asphalt from RAP is used ingredient STORFLUX. For each mixture are established modulus stiffness of asphalt mixture and determined fatigue characteristics of asphalt mixture. The identified properties are compared for the different representation of RAP.

The theoretical part of this master’s thesis contain comparing the methods of endurance hydraulic bound mixtures of concrete recycles against influence of water and freeze in Czech republic and some other states of The European Union. The practical part is dedicated about laboratory testing concrete recycles with mixtures of binders and its endurance against the water and freeze cycles in Czech republic. In made rollers is compared the strength in pure compression with the strength in pure compression after freezing cycles. From the results of the exams is considered about suitability of using these hydraulic bound mixtures to road construction depending on the kind of use binder, amount of the binder and water. Results of this thesis will be used to revision of national postscript of technological norm ČSN 73 6124-1.

Pursuant to the literary pursuit a problem of the technology Warm box these binders was tested: binder systems based of the Na-silicates, biogenous binders – proteins, polysacharides and fenol resins. Fenol resins and biogenous binders (K2 and Hide glue) showed to be optimal for core making technology Warm box. Biogenous binders are ecologically unexceptionable.

The practical part monitors shape of the grains of the chosen opening materials. This dissertation thesis deals with interactions on the interface core - melt by casting of cylinder heads from Al alloys in semi-permanent moulds and solves a specific problem with sticky sand after decoring of a diesel cylinder head casting. It describes in detail the process of core production using the Cold-Box method and process of casting using the progressive technology Rotacast. It theoretically analyses the reaction on the interface core-melt and presents a classification of surface defects by Al castings produced by gravity casting into semi-permanent moulds. It also states the results of technological tests of binders, core mixtures and cores (Cogas analysis). By solution of a problem with sticky sand in intake and exhaust ports of diesel cylinder head casting is used methodology for problem solving DMAIC. All experimental tests are solved in laboratory and production conditions of an international company dealing with casting of cylinder heads from Al alloys in semi-permanent moulds.
