Elninių žvėrių gausa, biotopinio pasiskirstymo palyginimas Aukštaitijos, Žemaitijos, Dzūkijos Nacionalinių parkų ir Raseinių rajono miškuose / The stock and comparison of biotopical distribution of cervids in the forests of aukštaitija, žemaitija, dzūkija national parks and county of raseiniai

Dambrauskis, Tomas 25 June 2014 (has links)
This research is made to estimate live stock and biotopical distribution of Cervidae family animals in northern part of Aukstaitija National park and in Zemaitija National park’s Ploksitne forest during winter seasons of 2006 – 2009. Also in Dzukija National park’s Zervynu forest and in Raseiniai County’s two forests. These animals are important part of hunting economy. They are effecting their environment simply through nourishment and the result of this relation comes back. These animals are a great part of forest’s ecosystem also they are affected by anthropological factors, such as hunt ant poach. There were made accountings of these animals according to selected tracks, these stock takings were made according to MacCain’s method. Later the results were extrapolated to show proportional amount of these animals during three year’s winter seasons and to know the results of biotopical distribution of these animals. It was estimated, that moose density in Aukstaitija National park was decreasing and in County of Raseiniai was increasing, while in Zematija and Dzukija National parks stayed stable. Red deer density in Aukstaitija, Zemaitija National parks and County of Raseiniai was increasing all the time, while in Dzukija national park stayed stable. Roe deer density fluctuated narrowly in all experimented areas except in County of Raseiniai notably increased. Biotopical distribution of Cervidae family animals in all experimented areas is further: moose mostly likes swamps... Elninių žvėrių (Cervidae) ir stirninių (Capreolus capreolus) kaukolių morfometrinės charakteristikos skirtingos medžioklėtvarkos miškuose / Density of cervids (cervidae) and craniometric data of roebucks (capreolus capreolus) in forests of different management

Auglys, Povilas 25 November 2010 (has links)
[toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The aim of this study was to find out and estimate the density of cervids in 4 researched forests; to find out the differences between craniometric data of roebucks which were hunted in forests of different management. The long study showed that the amount of red deers and roe deers decreased in professional hunting area whereas in club hunting area decreased only the amount of red deers while the amount of roe deers increased. The density of mooses felt into decline and finally during the last two years of study disappeared. Still and all there was found the significant differences in the red deer and in the roe deer densities in forests of different management. However in mentioned forests the densities of mooses were not significantly different. The significant differences of distributions of cervids in different biotopes were not found. There was found the most liked biotopes of roe deers during the non-vegetation period. Whereas red deer distribution in different biotopes has no regularity. The study of craniometric data showed that the parameter sizes of roebucks in the North Lithuania region are the smallest although not all are significantly different from parameters of craniometric data of roebucks in Middle Lithuania region. However the means of parameter show the same declining tendency. The craniometric data of roebucks in Middle Lithuania region in 2 different management hunting areas are lightly different. This difference was caused by commercial hunting in... [to full text]
