A noção de maquinaria de Braverman foi criticada porque para ele, diferentemente de Marx, divisão do trabalho e maquinaria são sinônimos. Em termos dialéticos, para Marx, a divisão industrial do trabalho produz as condições de sua própria negação. Estas condições são a maquinaria. A tese principal desta dissertação é que Braverman e outros pensadores marxistas, como Coriat e Gorz, não consideram a diferença entre divisão do trabalho e maquinaria. O discernimento desta diferença fundamental entre Braverman e Marx é muito importante para o pensamento marxista / Abstract: The aim of this dissertation is to analyze Harry Braverman¿s ideas in Labor and Monopoly Capital: The Degradation of Work in the Twentieth Century. The notion of Braverman¿s machinery was critized because for him, unlike Marx, division of labor and machinery are synonymous. In dialectical terms, for Marx, the industrial division of labor produces the conditions of its own negation. These conditions are the machinery. The main thesis of the dissertation is that Braverman and other Marxist thinkers, like Coriat and Gorz, do not take into account the difference between division of labor and machinery. The discernment of this fundamental difference between Braverman and Marx is very important for the Marxist thought / Mestrado / Mestre em Sociologia
