Para las organizaciones la innovación se ha posicionado como una estrategia movilizadora de valor y que permite generar competencias distintivas en sus actividades, diferentes perspectivas se han desarrollado en torno a su vinculación con el modelo de decisiones de la organización, por ello el propósito de este documento se orienta a establecer una reflexión de los referentes de modelos gerenciales y el papel de la innovación en estos, que permita la identificación de las bases de conocimiento para su aplicación e implementación en la administración de negocios, determinándose que la actividad innovadora vinculada a los modelos gerenciales, se contempla desde el recurso intelectual, con el fin de mejorar la forma por la cual se crean bienes y servicios, siendo la reflexión principal la relevancia que adquiere para los modelos modernos de gerencia de las organizaciones la mentalidad de cambio y la filosofía innovadora para la sostenibilidad en el tiempo. / Revisión por pares

The specific purposes of this investigation, therefore, are (1) to determine any general pattern in the development of different phases of personnel programs in different firms; and (2) to make an intensive case study of the development of the personnel program in one organization--Moore Business Forms, Incorporated--which might serve as a guide for similar studies in other firms.

Immigrants participate in entrepreneurial activity more frequently than other groups, largely resulting from restricted access to traditional occupational advancement. Recent studies have reported that immigrant entrepreneurs focus on their abundance of human and social capital to obtain the financial resources necessary to fund their ventures. Lack of financial resources has been identified as a major barrier for immigrant entrepreneurs; however, as this study indicates, both native and immigrant entrepreneurs face similar financial hurdles in locating initial startup funding. Where major differences arise between native and immigrant entrepreneurs is that native entrepreneurs more frequently transition to business forms of debt, a key component to long-term success. Resulting from their lack of embeddedness in their host context, immigrant entrepreneurs are far more likely to rely on social network based resources to fund growth, which removes their businesses from the opportunities business forms that debt provides. Using the Kauffman public data, I investigated the relationship between financing strategies engaged by "immigrant" versus "native" entrepreneurs.

The work deals with the topic of entry of foreign entrepreneurs to the Czech market on the background of two different forms of business - franchising and a limited liability company. The main topic concentrates on the comparison of legislation and contractual framework of these two business forms, primarily focusing on intellectual property and the protection of intangible assets. The work presents general legal provisions related to contracts in the field of intellectual property rights, including licensing agreements. The work is further devoted to franchising and limited liability companies. The business of foreign entrepreneurs is related to the internationality of the contractual process. Contractual cooperation of more entrepreneurs also requires the existence of statutory regulation of competition law, with a special focus on franchising in this work. The application part of the thesis is dedicated to the protection of intellectual property rights, rendering an example of a particular foreign entrepreneur doing business gradually through franchising, and then through a limited liability company founded as a subsidiary of a foreign parent company. Access of entrepreneurs to intellectual property protection during the expansion of their business is analyzed by individual types of intangible assets, such as trademark or know-how. The aim of the work is to highlight the specifics of each business forms and identify problems associated with the provision of intellectual property rights.

The diploma thesis focuses on decision-making process during choosing the form of business. It finds and describes the criteria that should be considered in this selection. These criteria compares and evaluates on a model situation in relation to the five chosen variants. The thesis contains suggestions of precedures leading to the choosing the suitable form of business, characterizes their advantages and disadvantages and presents situations in which the procedure is convenient to use.
