Tillverkarnas syn på utvecklingen av väderskydd

Lorentzson, Adam, Cronholm, Martin January 2009 (has links)

How does the weather protection systems look like today, and how will they be developed in the future? These are questions that we have worked with during this project. At the start of our report there’s a summary of the leading weather protection manufacturers in Sweden. We have explained how these systems are constructed and how they work. They are divided into two different systems. Systems built on scaffolds and production tents with a crane mounted in the roof. We’ve interviewed the persons responsible for the development in each company. We have done this to get a picture about how weather protection systems will look like in the future. During the interviews we had questions about development, functions, market and economy. From this material we’ve made an analyze about how weather protection systems will be developed.

We can determine that the manufacturers believe in a growing market. Partly because of that customers and insurance companies are starting to demand a dry construction environment. The systems are continuously developed and several actors are on the market.

Industrialiserat byggande

Pamp-Magnusson, Andreas, Larsson, Thomas January 2007 (has links)

The industrialization of construction is increasing in Sweden which leads to higher demands of prefabricated components and cells. But what does the business of construction think of the industrialized business and what can be done in order to decrease faults and errors with these products? Today we have many manufacturers who have different technical solutions which might lead to difficulties when assembling components and cells at the building site. But by trying to make a more opened market, with possibly standardized connections details and improving the communication between the different participants, the prefabricated components and cells can be made and assembled with less errors. This is something that needs to be done in order to establish a more secure business, and especially when working with new companies and methods, when using industrialized products.

Effektivisering av LCA med hjälp av BIM / Efficiency of BIM-based LCA

Olsson Hartmann, Martin, Svensson, Filip January 2015 (has links)
This thesis concerns how Sweden relates to life cycle assessment (LCA) in the construction process. LCA means analyzing a products impact and the analysis includes the whole life span of the product. A building has a high complexity and the combination with its unique shape will make the LCA more comprehensive, unlike e.g. aluminum cans. Recently there has been a development of a working procedure in the construction industry. This method is called BIM which means building information modelling and the key thing is to gather all the information of the building in the same model. The benefits by using BIM are that a lot of double work is minimized and different involved stakeholders can take part of the model and work in the same model. The purpose with the thesis is to contribute to a more sustainable design through increased use of LCA. The aim has been to study the opportunities of integration between LCA and BIM, and also study the opportunities of making the procedure more efficient. Firstly a study has been done concerning whether how LCA is performed in Sweden and what problems there are concerning the making of a LCA in the construction sector. Next step was to find the benefits with BIM that reduce the problems. The thesis questions have been answered with mainly a literature study and a few interviews. The last question, considered as the main question, has also been answered with a case study. The case study includes an attempt of making an LCA on a part of the building of Jönköping University, School of Engineering by using BIM. The result shows that there is barely anyone that is performing LCA on buildings in Sweden today. LCA is performed when there is a demand from clients, but it is rarely. The knowledge of LCA is therefore poor and there are no standard methods. The results from the analysis of buildings today are not reliable. BIM facilitates the performance of LCA in several ways, but the problems with unreliable results remains. Linking the analysis to BIM makes an awareness of sustainability in an early stage, which can be considered more important than getting a correct result. BIM gives us the opportunity to save time in a time consuming procedure and hopefully contributing to a reliable result. This could be seen as a step in the right direction towards a sustainable development.

EFFEKTIVISERING AVUTBILDNINGSPROCESSENFÖR PROJEKTCHEFER– EN MODELL FÖR INDUSTRIELLT BYGGANDE / AN EFFICENCY OF THE INTRODUCTIONPROCESS FOR PROJECT MANAGERS- A MODEL FOR INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION

Topphem, Markus, Umefeldt, Anton January 2015 (has links)
Purpose: Industrial construction is based on the efficiency of the construction byplacing the building process in the factory, where resources and expertise are utilizedthrough a cost- and quality assurance process. Industrial construction is under constantdevelopment, which create a demand for skilled project managers. The project managerhas a responsibility that requires coordination ability as well as stress management. Theproblem with hiring project managers without experience is the learning period, whichcould be addressed effectively through feedback of the experience that already exists inthe construction industry. The intention of this study is to define the skills required todevelop a model in industrial construction that streamlines the introduction process forproject managers. Method: A qualitative study was carried out with literature study and interview asmethods. The case study and literature has been considered necessary to answer thequestions based on a practical and theoretical point of view. Findings: The most important skills a project manager should include is the attributeto act leader and support by overlooking the project. The shortening of the introductionperiod can be made by work integrated learning, this entails an understanding of all theelements and processes within the project. To individualize based on the priorknowledge, the new project manager has the ability to skip processes they alreadymaster and make a more efficient introduction period. A model has been developed toidentify the elements that the new project manager in industrial construction willundergo, depending on the background and prior knowledge. Implications: The conclusion of the report is that the resulting model will create a moreefficient introduction for new project managers through an individualized introductiondepending on the background. The model is currently a base model for the guidance ofnewly hired project managers to become independent. Companies are given the optionto specify their own requirements for the model's activities. Limitations: The result is limited because the interviews with project managers arefrom only one company in industrial construction in the region of Jönköping. Theresulting model has not been tested in true situations, which means that the quality ofthe model cannot be ensured. Keywords: Industrial construction, project manager, education process, introductionprocess, construction process, experience feedback, project management, performancemanagement.
