Without revolutionary characteristic, orderly and nationalistic, they aimed at the agreement between workers and the current politic system. Thus, it attracted affection of the president Getúlio Vargas, who adopted the circle movement, with the intention to discipline and supervise Brazilian work force, which left the Church close to State, mainly to keep the communist far from workers. In order to do that the National Confederation of Catholic Laborers has edited several books that would guide the Laborers Circles and clergy itself. This approximation process between the State, Church and Laborers Circles, especially during New State is the theme of this dissertation. / Os Círculos Operários constituíram um dos movimentos católicos organizados por leigos, destinado aos operários. Com característica não revolucionária, ordeira e nacionalista, visavam o entendimento entre trabalhadores e o sistema político vigente. Assim, atraiu a simpatia do presidente Getúlio Vargas, que adotou o movimento circulista, com o propósito de disciplinar e supervisionar o operariado brasileiro, o que deixou a Igreja muito próxima do Estado, principalmente no sentido de manter o comunismo o mais longe possível dos operários. Para isso a Confederação Nacional de Operários Católicos editou diversos livros que orientariam os Círculos Operários e ao próprio clero. Esse processo de aproximação entre o Estado, a Igreja e os Círculos Operários, em especial durante o Estado Novo é o tema desta dissertação.
