This diploma thesis aims to design a structure of pedestrian bridge over the Svratka river. To make a preliminary study of possible bridging, three different outlines were drafted. The cable-stayed variant was selected for further analysis. Two towers, inclined in both their longitudinal and transverse direction, support a cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete deck through stay cables anchored in the tower and the deck. After determining the desired initial state, a finite element analysis was carried out using the Ansys software. The capacity of all main load-bearing elements was checked so it meets the ULS and SLS design criteria in accordance with EN 1992 codes.

The content of the diploma thesis is design urban bridge in Považská Bystrica. From three possible options was selected one, which represents cable stayed bridge-extradosed with four spans. This selected option was elaborated in detail in this diploma thesis. Design procedures and assessments were performed to comply with ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state according to valid europeans standarts. The calculation model was performed in program Midas Civil in logitudinal axis and in SCIA Engineer in transversal axis. Structural assessment were done manually. The part of the diploma thesis are detailed drawings and visualizations.

Disertacijoje nagrinėjama paspyrinių tiltų konstrukcijų plokštuminė elgsena ir stabilumas, taikant inovatyvius analizės metodus. Pagrindinis disertacijos tikslas – atlikti naujos paspyrinės konstrukcijos paiešką ir pasiūlyti skaičiavimo metodiką ir algoritmus naujosios konstrukcijos gniuždomų lenkiamų elementų įtempių ir deformacijų analizei bei stabilumo vertinimui taikant, visuminei analizei keliamus reikalavimus. Disertacijoje taip pat siekiama pateikti metodiką paspyrinių konstrukcijų įrąžų reguliavimui.
Darbe sprendžiamos kelios grupės uždavinių, kurių pirmoji skirta naujos paspyrinės konstrukcijos ir jos elgseną reikiamu tikslumu nusakančio apibendrinto gniuždomo lenkiamo elemento su tarpine paslankia atrama skaičiuojamojo modelio netiesinei elgsenos ir stabilumo analizei. Antroji siejama tu patikslintais skaičiuojamaisiais modeliais ir analizes metodais atsižvelgiant į visuminei analizei keliamus reikalavimus.
Disertaciją sudaro įvadas, 4 skyriai, rezultatų apibendrinimas, naudotos literatūros ir autoriaus publikacijų disertacijos tema sąrašai ir 3 priedai.
Įvadiniame skyriuje aptariama tiriamoji problema, darbo aktualumas, aprašomas tyrimų objektas, formuluojamas darbo tikslas bei uždaviniai, aprašoma tyrimų metodika, darbo mokslinis naujumas, darbo rezultatų praktinė reikšmė, ginamieji teiginiai. Įvado pabaigoje pristatomos disertacijos tema autoriaus paskelbtos publikacijos ir pranešimai konferencijose bei disertacijos struktūra.
Pirmas skyrius skirtas literatūros... [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The dissertation investigates the issues addressed to Under-Deck Cable-Stayed (UDCS) bridge, analyses its in-plain structural behavior and stability verification with an approach of Advanced Analysis.
The main objects of research include effective form-finding of steel UDCS bridge, structural behaviour and stability analysis by means of beam-column elements based on the Direct Analysis Method.
The study approaches a few main tasks such as a new form of UDCS bridge by accounting for the economical and efficient structural design criteria; dealing with the generalized calculation models of the additionally restrained steel beam-column elements; the development of the computational method for the direct analysis of the steel structures and especially bridges using generalized calculation models and outlining practical guidelines for UDCS bridge design.
The dissertation consists of five parts including Introduction, 4 chapters, Conclusions, References and 3 Annexes.
The introduction reveals the investigated problem, importance of the thesis and the object of research and describes the purpose and tasks of the study, research methodology, scientific novelty, the practical significance of results examined in the thesis and defended statements. The introduction ends in presenting the author’s publications on the subject of the defended dissertation, offering the material of made presentations in conferences and defining the structure of the dissertation.

This master thesis deals with the dynamic analysis of a footbridge. Computational model of the footbridge was created using ANSYS software. The model was subjected to dynamic wind load in longitudal and lateral direction. Furthermore pedestrian load in lateral direction was analyzed. Afterwards, due to unsatisfactory response to the pedestrian laod, a tuned mass damper was introduced to reduce the vibration. This lead to decrease in the vibration to a satisfactory levels, as is shown in the analyses of the model.

Lávka přes Labe / Footbridge across the LabeKrč, Rostislav January 2017 (has links)
The thesis focuses on design of prestressed concrete footbridge which passes pedestrian and bicycle path over the Elbe river near city of Celakovice in the Czech Republic. Three different bridge options were analyzed and for further development a cable-stayed footbridge was chosen. Its bridge deck is formed of a box girder supported by cables in its vertical axis and all cable stays are anchored into two concrete A-shaped pylons. This structure was analyzed in SCIA Engineer and assessment of serviceability limit states and ultimate limit states according to recent European standards (Eurocodes) was made. Both the global structural behavior and the local structural integrity of box cross-section were assessed as well as construction stages and cross-sections of pylons and cable stays. Assessments were performed in IDEA StatiCa combined with hand calculations. Eventually a dynamic response of structure was analyzed. Natural modes and frequencies were found and forced oscillation response was evaluated. The thesis includes technical drawings, construction process and visualization.

The aim of final thesis is design and assessment of footbridge over highway D1 in Bohumín. The design is processed in two options. From these two options there is cable-stayed construction solved in greater detail. Because counstruction is in circular arch with small radius, it is necessary to contain real geometry to computational model. Model is created by beams and construction stages are included too. The construction is assessed for the ultimate and serviceability limit state according to valid standards. In the thesis is performed eigenvalue analysis and harmonic response of the construction. Detailed drawings are included too.
