We investigate the articulation between two psychoanalytic concepts: the superego, defined as an imperative of enjoyment, structural of the subject, and the capitalist discourse, Lacanian contribution to the analysis of the contemporary social bond. Our theoretical position is that there is no contemporaneous emergence of a "new superego", which would modify the subject's structure. Historical circumstances bring about changes in the social bond. We start from the proposition that the capitalist discourse uses and intensifies the imperative of enjoyment coming from this psychic instance, the superego. As a procedure, we conduct a theoretical research focused on some seminars and writings of Jacques Lacan. The study is divided in three moments. The first deals with the superego as a psychic instance that is part of the transhistorical structure of the subject; the second deals with the theoretical possibilities of articulating superego and society; and the third describes the specificity of the concept of capitalist discourse and points out its relation with the imperative of enjoyment of the superego. We find that the ordination of enjoyment arising from the capitalist discourse is established with the appropriation and intensification of the superegoic imperative that denies the structural castration of the subject. The capitalist discourse makes uses of the imperative of enjoyment in two ways: by articulating itself with the ideals of the capitalist economy of production, it promotes the acceleration of commodity production. Also, by articulating itself to the ideal of consumption, disseminated mainly by advertising, it intensifies consumption behavior. We verify that, by operating according to the ethics of desire, the discourse of psychoanalysis can be considered a counterpoint to the capitalist discourse. If in the capitalist discourse there is an intensification of the potency of the imperative of enjoyment, in the discourse of psychoanalysis there is a mitigation of such power. To enable the subject to operate according to the singularity of his or hers desire and, therefore, not submitting him or herself massively to the dictates of the superegoic imperative is a political contribution of resistance that psychoanalysis can offer to the social bond that immerses the subject in the excessive repetition of the act of consumption. We conclude the present doctoral research with the appropriation that the analysis of contemporary social processes cannot do without the psychoanalytic category of the superego and its articulation with the concept of the discursive of capitalism / O presente estudo aborda a relação entre a estrutura do sujeito e o contingente histórico atual. Investigamos a articulação entre dois conceitos psicanalíticos: o supereu, definido como imperativo de gozo estrutural do sujeito, e o discurso do capitalista, contribuição lacaniana para a análise do laço social contemporâneo. Nosso posicionamento teórico é que não há na contemporaneidade o surgimento de um “novo supereu”, o que modificaria a estrutura do sujeito. Entendemos que as circunstâncias históricas ocasionam alterações no laço social. Partimos da proposição de que o discurso capitalista utiliza e intensifica o imperativo de gozo proveniente da instância psíquica supereu. Como procedimento, realizamos uma pesquisa teórica abordando alguns seminários e escritos de Jacques Lacan. O estudo divide-se em três momentos. O primeiro trata do supereu como instância psíquica que faz parte da estrutura trans-histórica do sujeito; o segundo aborda as possibilidades teóricas de articular supereu e sociedade; e o terceiro descreve a especificidade do conceito de discurso capitalista e aponta sua relação com o imperativo de gozo do supereu. Constatamos que a ordenação de gozo do discurso capitalista institui-se com a apropriação e intensificação do imperativo supereuoico que nega a castração estrutural do sujeito. O discurso capitalista utiliza o imperativo de gozo de duas maneiras: ao se articular aos ideais da economia capitalista de produção promove a aceleração da produção de mercadorias. Ao se articular ao ideal de consumo, disseminado principalmente pela propaganda, intensifica o comportamento de consumo. Verificamos que, por operar conforme a ética do desejo, o discurso da psicanálise pode ser considerado um contraponto ao discurso capitalista. Se no discurso capitalista há a intensificação da potência do imperativo de gozo, no discurso da psicanálise há uma amenização de tal potência. Possibilitar que o sujeito opere conforme a singularidade do seu desejo e não se submeta massivamente aos ditames do imperativo supereuoico é uma contribuição política de resistência que a psicanálise pode oferecer ao enlaçamento social que mergulha o sujeito na repetição excessiva da função mais-de-gozar do objeto a. Finalizamos a presente pesquisa de doutorado com a apropriação de que a análise de processos sociais contemporâneos não pode prescindir da categoria psicanalítica supereu e de sua articulação com o conceito discurso do capitalismo

Basing us on the psychoanalytic theory research in articulation with other knowledge areas, especially with philosophy and sociology, we intend to establish conjectures between the transitional context of the psychic structure of the neurotic subject – in what concerns their entry into language and the production of the rest Real – and in the actual historical context, researching the theme of the degradation of the environments through pollution in the horizon of the political and economical system of consumer capitalism in their specificity of rest production and the rejection of the rest Real. In the course of the research connective openings and possibilities were presented between the scopes which treat the rest as pollution, the rest as operation of constitutive loss of the subject and of the rest as indescribable opacity related to the body, as well their management through capitalist discourse in order to think the place of rest production in the contemporaneity, where we conclude that there is, beyond the phenomenon, the place of a symptom / Mediante o perturbador fenômeno de extensão do lixo que atinge proporções planetárias na contemporaneidade, a presente pesquisa se propõe a levantar algumas discussões sob a perspectiva da psicanálise freudiana e lacaniana acerca da implicação do sujeito do inconsciente no ato de poluir os ambientes naturais na sociedade capitalista de consumo. Pautando-nos na pesquisa teórica psicanalítica em articulação com outras áreas do conhecimento, em especial, a filosofia e a sociologia, tencionamos estabelecer conjecturas entre o contexto transhistórico da estrutura psíquica do sujeito neurótico – no que concerne à sua entrada na linguagem e à produção do resto Real – e o contexto histórico atual, investigando o tema da degradação dos ambientes pela poluição, no horizonte do sistema político-econômico capitalista de consumo, em sua especificidade de produção de restos e recusa do resto Real. Ao longo da pesquisa, foram apresentadas aberturas e possibilidades conectivas entre os âmbitos que tratam do resto como poluição, do resto como operação de perda constitutiva do sujeito e do resto como opacidade indescritível remetida ao corpo, bem como o gerenciamento desses pelo discurso capitalista, a fim de pensarmos o lugar da produção dos restos na contemporaneidade – o que concluímos ser, para além de um fenômeno, o lugar de um sintoma
