The study that the research lays on, it s the merging process of Casas Bahia and Ponto Frio at Cascavel city Paraná State, the implications that this merger brought and keeps bringing to the working class by the impressions that the workers experience on the shop floor about the changes in their labor relations. Therefore, the mergers of big companies , big conglomerate formations, and the existing tendency in the capitalistic society at his monopolistic estate with relevance at the Brazilian retail sector, it s discuss starting at the life and work trajectory of the workers contributors at this store s, analyzing the impressions and pressures that the retail workers indicate and live at this process. In the edge of analyzing the several productive restructurings at the retail business, the research uses oral storytelling of employees and former employees at the two stores perceiving how these workers mean and configure these changes in the world of labor, even dictating dynamics in this space. / A presente dissertação tem como objetivo refletir sobre as trajetórias da classe trabalhadora na sociedade capitalista contemporânea, discutindo as mudanças no mundo do trabalho que vem acontecendo nos últimos anos, principalmente no setor de serviços, a partir das experiências de vida e trabalho de sujeitos que vivenciam essas transformações em seu cotidiano. O estudo em que a pesquisa se debruça é o processo de fusão da Casas Bahia e Ponto Frio, na cidade de Cascavel, Paraná, e as implicações que essa transação trouxe e está trazendo para a classe trabalhadora por meio das impressões dos que vivenciam no chão da loja essas transformações em suas relações de trabalho. Portanto, as fusões de grandes empresas e a formação de grandes conglomerados tendência existente na sociedade capitalista em sua época monopolista e com relevância no setor varejista brasileiro são discutidas a partir das trajetórias de vida e trabalho dos trabalhadores colaboradores dessas lojas, avaliando as impressões e pressões sofridas por esses sujeitos nos processos em questão. Para analisar as diversas reestruturações produtivas no comércio varejista, a pesquisa se utiliza de narrativas orais de trabalhadores e ex-funcionários das duas lojas, buscando apreender como esses trabalhadores significam e configuram essas mudanças no mundo do trabalho, inclusive ditando dinâmicas neste espaço.
