Prilog istraživanju uticaja raznosmernog tečenja metala na parametre procesa hladnog istiskivanja delova složenih geometrijskih oblika / A contribution to the investigation of divided material flow influence to the process parameters of complex shapes cold extrusion

Skakun Plavka 18 February 2015 (has links)

/
Possibility of flow relief openings applying in cold extrusion of gear-like elements in order to reduce the process parameters is elaborated in this thesis. Two different deformation models are analysed: when the opening is in the billet and when the opening is in the punch. Upper bound method was applied for the process analysis and determination of deformation force, punch pressure and change of part geometry. Extrusion experiment and numerical simulation of process are used for verification of theoretical solution. Theoretical, experimental and numerical results confirmed that application of flow relief openings enables reduction of deformation force and punch pressure in the process of gear-like elements extrusion.

Vibro-acoustic products from re-cycled raw materials using a cold extrusion process : a continuous cold extrusion process has been developed to tailor a porous structure from polymeric waste, so that the final material possesses particular vibro-acoustic properties

Khan, Amir January 2008 (has links)
A cold extrusion process has been developed to tailor a porous structure from polymeric waste. The use of an extruder to manufacture acoustic materials from recycled waste is a novel idea and the author is not aware of any similar attempts. The extruder conveys and mixes the particulates with a reacting binder. The end result is the continuous production of bound particulates through which a controlled amount of carbon dioxide gas that is evolved during the reaction is used to give the desired acoustic properties. The cold extrusion process is a low energy consuming process that reprocesses the post manufacturing waste into new vibro-acoustic products that can be used to meet the growing public expectations for a quieter environment. The acoustical properties of the developed products are modelled using Pade approximation and Johnson-Champoux-Allard models. Applications for the developed products are widespread and include acoustic underlay, insulation and panels in buildings, noise barriers for motorways and railway tracks, acoustic insulation in commercial appliances and transport vehicles.

Výroba uzavřené matice objemovým tvářením / Bulk forming technology of cover nut

Dušek, Otakar January 2014 (has links)
The diploma thesis suggests a producing plan of the cover nut using cold forming technology. The component will be made of the structural steel 11 320 5R. Size of its assumed annual production is 800 000 pieces. The best option was chosen from four suggested production versions. A wire with a diameter of 13.2 mm was designed as a semi-product. The component will be made in four forming operations. Roll forming machine TPM 8 (produced by Šmeral Brno) with a nominal force of 1000 kN was elected for the proposed manufacturing technology. Drawing documentation was elaborated, which includes drawing of the rolling tool assembly and drawing of tools for 3rd operation (backward extrusion). The results of the economic evaluation shows that the production cost of one nut is 1 CZK.
