Finding home: knowledge, collage, and the local environments is the first multi-modal doctoral dissertation in the Faculty of Education at York University. This dissertation was multi-modal because it included both a scholarly document and a visual art installation. This dissertation website includes a description of the doctoral dissertation project, pdf version of the dissertation, videos from the art installation at Toronto's Gladstone Hotel and pictures of the art installation.
