In it, the author rebuilds the African history through literature, parodying historical speeches produced by Europeans over centuries of colonization. For this, Ungulani brings up social conflicts between the Mozambican communities, showing the role of women in African society, as well as the shock suffered by the cultures and traditions of the continent when touched by the European. Such elaboration is developed through the questioning of historical knowledge built through a parodic narrative, evidenced by ironies that punctuate, through its edges, the dimishment of African identities and the enhancement of the Portuguese culture, language and identity. This research will show how Ungulani introduces readers to a new historical version, which does not deny the knowledge already built, but it shows that there are aspects that have been eliminated and are noteworthy for being place of belonging to Africans. / Choriro consiste em uma das obras mais expressivas de Ungulani Ba Ka Khosa. Nela, o autor remonta a história africana através da literatura, parodiando discursos históricos produzidos pelos europeus ao longo de séculos de colonização. Para isso, Ungulani traz à tona conflitos sociais entre as comunidades moçambicanas, mostrando o papel da mulher na sociedade africana, bem como o abalo sofrido pelas culturas e tradições do continente quando tocadas pelo europeu. Essa construção se dá através do questionamento do conhecimento histórico construído através de uma narrativa paródica, evidenciada por ironias que pontuam, através de suas arestas, o cerceamento das identidades africanas e o enaltecimento da cultura, língua e identidade portuguesas. Esta pesquisa mostrará como Ungulani apresenta aos leitores uma nova versão histórica, que não nega o conhecimento já construído, mas demonstra que há aspectos que foram suprimidos e merecem destaque por serem lugar de pertença dos africanos.
