Por isso, o comércio sempre ocupou um lugar estratégico no espaço das cidades. Atualmente, em função das importantes transformações que têm ocorrido com o sistema produtivo mundial, têm-se novas modalidades comerciais que necessitam de grandes áreas para se instalarem. Na busca de novos espaços, antes considerados periféricos, as grandes redes de comércio criam novas espacialidades urbanas, novas centralidades ligadas à natureza das trocas de mercadorias, valorizam áreas no seu entorno. Como manifestação das necessidades de diferentes sociedades e em diferentes momentos, o desenvolvimento do comércio varejista deu-se de forma espontânea. De uma função social a uma função econômica, o comércio foi inventando e adotando novas técnicas, expandindo, incorporando e promovendo mudanças nas relações de troca e, principalmente, no espaço onde elas ocorrem. Nesse sentido, este trabalho propõe-se a analisar as novas espacialidades urbanas criadas a partir da instalação de grandes superfícies comerciais, em especial dos hipermercados, no Brasil e na cidade de Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. Considerada como uma cidade média, com mais de 578 mil habitantes, no início de 2005, após a instalação do Hipermercado Carrefour e do Shopping Center, a cidade passou a apresentar um "novo centro" comercial, de consumo, de serviços, de idéias, de lazer, de valores sociais e culturais. / Abstract: Studying the history of commerce, we note that the localization has invariably been a prerequisite for its installation. Because of this, commerce has always occupied a strategic place in city space. Nowadays, due to important changes that have taken place in the global production system, new commercial concepts have arisen that requires large areas for their installation. In search of new areas, previously considered as outlying, large commercial networks create new urban spaces, increase the value of surrounding land and new centers that are appropriate for the nature of the enterprise. Demonstrating the needs of different societies and on different occasions, the developments of retail commerce came about spontaneously. From social to economic functions, commerce invented and adopted new commercial techniques, expanding, incorporating and promoting changes in exchange relationship and principally, in the areas where these changes occur. Within this aspect, this study proposes to analyze the new urban spaces that have been created as a result of large commercial areas, especially the hypermarkets in Brazil and in the city of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. Classified as a medium-sized town having more than 578.000 inhabitants. At the beginning of the year 2005, after the establishment of the Hypermarket Carrefour and the Shopping Center, the town has presented a new "commercial center" for consumption, technical assistance, ideas, recreation and social and cultural values. / Doutor

Orientador: Marco Antonio Martim Biaggioni / Banca: Osmar de Carvalho Bueno / Banca: Luís Fernando Nicolosi Bravim / Resumo: O presente trabalho objetivou analisar o fluxo energético considerando as rotas atualmente existentes para o escoamento de soja da região centro-oeste do Brasil, mais precisamente, do município de Rio Verde (GO) até o porto de Santos (SP), visto que, é um grande pólo exportador de granéis sólidos. Foram selecionadas duas rotas para a análise, uma contemplando a multimodalidade, ou seja, os modais rodoviário, ferroviário e hidroviário, e outra, uma única modalidade, o modal rodoviário. A conversão dos fatores físicos e operacionais envolvidos nos sistemas logísticos, multimodal e unimodal de transportes estudados se deu por meio de coeficientes energéticos levantados junto à literatura. Os resultados obtidos indicaram, pela rota 1 multimodal, com gasto energético específico maior o modal rodoviário (0,50 MJ.km-1.t-1), seguido pelo modal ferroviário (0,42 MJ.km-1.t-1) e, em terceiro, o modal hidroviário (0,22 MJ.km-1.t-1). Pela rota 2 unimodal rodoviário, o resultado indicou 0,50 MJ.km-1.t-1. Nas participações de energia apresentadas, comparando as rotas 1 e 2, a que apresentou maior gasto energético específico foi a rota 2 (0,50 MJ.km-1.t-1), seguida pela rota 1 (0,34 MJ.km-1.t-1). / Abstract: The present work objectified to currently analyze the energy flow considering the existing routes for the draining of soy of the region center-west of Brazil, more necessarily, of the city of Rio Verde (GO) until the port of Santos (SP), since, it is a great exporting polar region of solid granaries. Two routes for the analysis had been selected, one contemplating the multimodality, that is, modal the road, together railroad worker and water road, and another one, an only modality, the modal road. The conversion of involved the physical and operational factors in the systems logistic, multimodal and unimodal of studied transports if gave by means of raised energy coefficients next to literature. The gotten results had indicated, for multimodal route 1, with energy expense specific greater the modal road (0,50 MJ.km-1.t-1), followed for modal railroad worker (0,42 MJ.km-1.t-1) e, in third, the modal water road (0,22 MJ.km-1.t-1). For route 2 road unimodal, the result indicated 0,50 MJ.km-1.t-1. In the presented participation of energy, comparing routes 1 and 2, the one that specific energy expense presented greater it was route 2 (0,50 MJ.km-1.t-1), followed for route 1 (0,34 MJ.km-1.t-1). / Mestre

Durante o século XX, inúmeras tentativas foram feitas, cada qual com culturas políticas de integração diferenciadas, visando alcançar esse objetivo, mas com poucos resultados concretos. Já no século XXI, dois projetos de integração regional ganham destaque: a União das Nações Sul-americanas (UNASUL) e a Aliança Bolivariana para os povos de nossa América - Tratado de Comércio dos Povos (ALBA-TCP), liderados respectivamente por Brasil e Venezuela. Estes blocos, de cunho eminentemente político, têm se apresentado como uma alternativa às propostas de integração de viés econômico, mais especificamente, à proposta dos Estados Unidos, consubstanciada na Área de Livre Comércio das Américas (ALCA). O objetivo desse projeto, que resultou de iniciação científica apoiada pelo Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq), foi analisar o comportamento político da UNASUL e da ALBA-TCP, com especial atenção para seus países líderes, bem como dos Estados Unidos, país que teve seus interesses diretamente afetados pela recusa dos países latino-americanos em participar de sua proposta de integração consubstanciada na ALCA e pelas constituições desses dois novos blocos sub-regionais. Atenção especial será dada à política de defesa comum proposta pelo mandatário venezuelano Hugo Chávez a ser implementada no âmbito da ALBA-TCP. Para tanto, foram analisados os tratados constitutivos e as declarações das reuniões desses blocos a fim de identificar os valores e preceitos que nortearam sua formação e a evolução dos processo de integração e fazem deles culturas políticas de integração peculiares. Tentou-se ainda mapear as "forças profundas" que agem nesses processos de integração a fim de verificar as causas de sua não consecução de forma integral / Abstract: Regional integration is a dream pursued in Latin America since the period of the independence of their countries. During the twentieth century, numerous attempts were made, each one with different political cultures of integration in order to achieve this goal, but with few concrete results. In the twenty-first century, two regional integration projects are highlighted: the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) and the Bolivarian Alternative for the peoples of our America - the People's Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), led respectively by Brazil and Venezuela . These blocks, eminently political, are presented as an alternative to the proposed economical integration, more specifically, the U.S. proposal, embodied in the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA). The objective of this project, which resulted from undergraduates supported by the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), was to analyze the political behavior of UNASUR and ALBA-TCP, with special attention to their countries leaders as well as the United States, country that had their interests directly affected by the refusal of Latin American countries to participate in its proposed FTAA and integration embodied in the constitutions of these two new sub-regional blocks. Special attention will be given to the common defense policy proposed by Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez to be implemented within the framework of ALBA-TCP. This way, we analyzed the constitutive treaties and declarations of the meetings of these blocks in order to identify the values and principles that guided its formation and evolution of the integration process and make them peculiar political cultures of integration. Para tanto, foi feita a análise das leis civis e empresariais que regem o negócio jurídico e os contratos, de forma a verificar se são aplicáveis aos contratos celebrados pela internet, tecnologia que, com suas características peculiares, altera a percepção de conceitos tais como a territorialidade, a identidade das partes e o lugar da celebração ou execução das obrigações, essenciais para a aplicação do direito. Analisou-se os tipos de contrato celebrados pela internet quanto à manifestação da vontade das partes e ao momento de constituição do vínculo obrigacional. Examinou-se as tentativas no direito interno e externo de regulamentação dos contratos celebrados pela internet, também denominados contratos eletrônicos, para finalmente verificar-se a viabilidade da criação de leis e normas nessa área. Concluiu-se pela aplicação, os contratos celebrados pela internet, das normas civis e empresariais aplicáveis aos contratos em geral, bem como a viabilidade de criação de leis que visem a conferir segurança jurídica a esse tipo de contratação mediante o reconhecimento da validade e eficácia e força probante de tais contratos. / Abstract: The objective of this research is to analyse the constitution of the obligational bond related to the contracts in which technology, specifically the world wide web, designated as internet, is used to perform the agreement. Therefore, it was analysed civil and commercial laws related to the legal acts and the contracts in general, in order to examine whether they are applicable to the contracts celebrated by the internet, considering that such technology presents peculiar characteristics that modify the perception of concepts such as territoriality, parties' identity, celebration venue or place of execution of the obligations, which are essential for the application of law. It was examined the types of the contracts that are celebrated by means of the internet classified according to the way of expression of the parties' will and to the moment of the constitution of the obligational bond. It was also analysed national and international laws for the regulation of the contracts celebrated by means of the internet, also called electronic contracts, to finally verify the feasibility of the creation of laws applicable specifically to this area. The conclusion of this research is for the application, to the contracts celebrated by means of the internet, of the civil and commercial laws applicable to contracts in general, in order to grant legal enforcement for this specific type of agreement by means of the express recognition of the validity, enforceability and capacity of proof of such contracts. / Mestre

Buscar-se-á compreender este fenômeno através do estudo da técnica, tudo com base nas obras do pensador Jacques Ellul, que trilhou sobre as mais diversas áreas do conhecimento no século passado, com extremo brilhantismo, podendo, além disso, ser considerado um visionário. Mostrar-se-ão os problemas que o avanço tecnológico vem trazendo, os quais complicam o ser humano em sua vida particular, criando neuroses, fruto da adaptação deste ao mundo moderno. Para tanto e de forma mais analítica estudar-se-ão as características da técnica moderna, as quais permitem entender como se dá o desenvolvimento da técnica. Buscar-se-á compreender também o que vem a ser a informação, a principal técnica da atualidade, e as diferentes concepções sobre a sociedade contemporânea. Além disso, analisar-se-á a influência da imagem na sociedade técnica e sua predominância em relação à palavra. Necessária também se mostrou a análise do que vem a ser o comércio eletrônico, o novo modelo de realizações negociais, que se apresenta em franco crescimento. Assim, o estabelecimento virtual surge dentro deste contexto, não permitindo a criação de obstáculos, se encontrando atualmente em todo o mundo, sem enxergar as diferenças culturais e as menosprezando, trazendo uma uniformidade ao mundo, tanto pela forma de comercializar, como pelos produtos que expõe. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The present study will try to create a profound reflexion about the technical advance in the modern society of the institute known as virtual establishment, and also its reflexes in a variety of associations. One of the objectives, is to understand this phenomenon thought the study of the technique, all based on the publications of the philosopher Jacques Ellul, who disserted about the various parts of knowledge in the last century with extreme brilliance,making him a true visionary. The problems brought by technological advances will be shown, these can complicated one's private life, generating neurosis, a product of its adaptation to the modern world. To do so in an analytical form, the characteristics of the modern technique will be studied, permitting tounderstand the development of the technique. The meaning of information, the principal technique used in the actuality, and its different conceptions in contemporaneous society will be explained, and also, the influence of image in the technical society and its predominance in relation with words will be analyzed. The analyses of what is electronic marketing, a new model of business transactions that is in fast growth should also be done. The virtual market appears inside this context, without obstacles, spreading to the entire globe, with no eyes for cultural differences, bringing uniformity to the world, not just in the way to shop but also on the products available. But not everyone has access to it, being this a big problem presented by the virtual establishment: the digital exclusion. In this work, there will be shown the necessity of development of ways to advance in the virtual technique, ways that show be the result of a critical and reflexive posture of the man, which is rarely seen now a days.
