The purpose of this dissertation was to analyze the entrerprisation process of the artistic “invernada” of three Gaucho Tradition Centers of the 26th Traditionalist Region. According to Oliven (2006), the Gaucho traditions are inspired by the figure of the gaucho as a free and wandering man. And, considering Hobsbawm's writings (2008), such traditions were invented to reflect social adaptations and construction of cultural signs. Through a research with a predominantly quantitative approach to the analysis of Gaucho Tradition Centers, information regarding the perception of members of the artistic “invernada” was gathered through a questionnaire elaborated for this purpose. A five-point Likert scale was used to classify affirmations by members of dance groups. The results were analyzed in the light of Solè's theory of entrepreneurship (2004, 2008), analyzing the competition relation (POLANYI, 2000) and the consumption relation (BAUDRILLARD, 2008). The scores found in the research indicated the presence of characteristic traits of a company in the three organizations studied, with a greater influence of the consumption relation on the entrepreneurial process.
