Rodrigues / Banca: Eliana Aguiar Petri Nahás / Banca: Willian Davila Delgallo / Resumo: O câncer de mama acomete inúmeras mulheres e preocupa profissionais de diferentes áreas da saúde, em busca de alternativas para a prevenção e o tratamento dessa doença. Dentre os fatores de risco para o câncer, encontram-se variáveis genéticas, alimentares, sócio-ambientais e comportamentais que participam da gênese da doença. O estresse é um dos fatores pesquisados, sendo reconhecido por seus efeitos imunodepressores e potencialmente relevantes para a gênese das neoplasias malignas. A inter-relação de variáveis orgânicas e psicossociais na gênese do câncer e na de muitas outras doenças tem sido objeto de estudos da psicoimunologia, que se solidifica como novo campo científico, fundamentado em resultados de pesquisas psicofisiológicas e nas contribuições das pesquisas na área do estresse. Dada a importância das relações conjugais e familiares na trajetória de vida da maioria dos indivíduos e os resultados de pesquisa indicando tais relações como fontes significativas de estresse, considera-se relevante a realização de estudos visando compreender e tratar os fatores afetivoemocionais de estresse ligados às relações conjugais e à saúde dos indivíduos. Esta pesquisa visou contribuir para os avanços teóricos em psico-oncologia, tendo como objetivo geral realizar intervenção terapêutica sociodramática com a finalidade de trabalhar os conflitos conjugais e familiares como prevenção primária, para as mulheres sem câncer de mama, e secundária, para as mulheres com câncer de mama. E específicos, identificar os conteúdos psicossociais envolvidos nos conflitos familiares e conjugais; possibilitar a co-construção dos conteúdos emergidos no grupo, na busca de conscientizar, ampliar, compreender e redefini-los; averiguar o significado atribuído a esses conflitos e favorecer a ressignificação para a abertura de novas possibilidades na resolução... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Breast cancer affects several women and raises concern among health professionals of different specialties, in the search for options for the prevention and treatment of this disease. The risk factors for cancer include genetic, dietary, socioenvironmental and behavioral factors that, in combination, participate in the occurrence of this disease. Stress is one of the factors analyzed, because of its known immune suppressing effects that may be potentially relevant in the initiation of malignant neoplasias. The inter-relation of organic and psychosocial variables in the initiation of cancer and many other diseases has been investigated in psychoimmunology research, which has been established as a new field of science, based on the results of psychophysiologic studies and contributions of investigations in the field of stress.Considering the importance of marital and family relationships in the life of most individuals and that previous investigations indicated such relationships as significant sources of stress, studies should be conducted to understand and treat the affectiveemotional factors of stress related to the marital relationships and health of individuals. This study aimed to contribute to theoretical advances in the field of psycho-oncology, with the overall objective to perform a sociodramatic therapeutic intervention in order to address the marital and family stresses as primary prevention for women without breast cancer and secondary prevention for women with breast cancer.
